►►Divisional Championships S18 registration

Post by Oxford NZ »

Registration is now open for the Divisional Championships
The link to the registration list is here

18th season of the FISO Divisional Championships

Premiership, Championship, League 1, League 2, National league and Sunday league.
7 rounds of 5 game weeks, with promotion and relegation at the end of each round.

Rules.
All that is required to play is to be a FISO member and have a valid FPL id.
Multiple team entries from an individual will not be allowed.
Registration is open all season and new players are more than welcome.
New players will be added to the Sunday league at the start of the next round.
Scoring
Traditional FPL scoring, the data for the GW points is taken directly from the FPL website for each manager. The cost of hits will not count in the first GW of each round but in the other four GW's hit costs will be deducted from the GW score.
TIEBREAKERS
1. Fewest Transfers in the Round.
2. H2H wins for each GW in the Round between the tied teams 1 point for a GW win 0 points for a loss or draw.
TC from GW1 get deducted only for the H2H tiebreaker purpose.
3. Overall FPL points for the whole FPL season to date.
4. Admins decision will be the final tie breaker but the manager having a lower FPL ID is not too bad if it gets to this point, and better than a virtual coin toss.

You will be added to the Sunday league before kick off for GW4. Good luck, they look like a tough bunch this season.

Shockingly it didn't rain today (I live in Manchester) as expected.

I think your lot are back here next "summer" so it might not be too difficult to fit it in....

I'm not an avid viewer of cricket as I am too old and have seen it all before (tbh the Women's Hundred was interesting\fun), but I het your Kohli point totally. It's OK to be a pants Capt\selector if you get a ton every Test, or wine easily, but he doesn't. Our "experts" don't understand why Ashwin hasn't played - I assume he has been shagging Kohli's wife and\or daughter

All of India (and I suppose most of the rest of the world) would want to shag Kohli's wife, she's a bombshell :D :D :D ... That's beside the point.

Ashwin should be perhaps the third pick in every Indian Test team, after Bumrah and Pujara. Kohli is a super bat (it's just a slump, he will be back alright) and decent-ish leader of men - but is a pigheaded, brain-dead captain. We have never had a national team nearly as good as this - the only thing stopping this India team to have a WestIndies/Australia-like domination is Kohli's captaincy. He/the selectors should do the right thing and hand over the reins to Rohit (who is a smart captain and is now a Test regular too).

I really want the last test to happen.
Kohli - whatever one would say of him - is a purist at heart. He will give a hand and a leg for Test cricket.

It does seem odd that one of the top 2 spinners in the world doesn't play.....

Not seen his wife, but who knows?

Your lot deserve the Series win, imho, and Bumrah looks like a very annoying bowler to face, so good on him.

Yeah it's puzzling. He has something against the less mouthy, less brash players, it seems. Ashwin, Pujara...

It does seem strange as the extra spin bowler would have made it a bigger win, imho; and despite a collapse ot three, you don't need a batter better than Ashwin.

Absolutely. You are very right.
It's not like Ashwin is a modern day Stuart MacGill, giving off lots of runs to get his wickets. He can bowl as tight as Jadeja, and the two of them bowl great in tandem.

And our batters have no patience........

As above, I am more into the women, as there are a few very good ones and some that are rubbisher than rubbish

Wasn't watching the 100 seriously, not a fan of the T20 type stuff. But a couple of our girls did well, non? Smriti Mandhana is of course the nation's darling - such a joy to watch - something very Gower / Ganguly-esque about her batting. Also glad that Jemima Rodrigues is back in form after a couple bad years, and Deepti Sharma is steady as one can be.
Sad that all this is coming a few years too late for the old stalwarts, Mithali Raj and Jhulan Goswami. They are heroes and Indian women's cricket / Indian cricket has a lot to be indebted to them for.

I can't pretend to know all by name etc

Jemima is seriously good, as is the Windies Matthews. They play naturally, but a lot of the English are trying to copy someone . ...
