Kane replacement poll
Really interested to see people's thoughts. I'm currently thinking DCL is a great option but I also have Wilson and I'm not sure where else to go.

Re: Kane replacement poll
What about a punt on Abraham? I might risk it after Giroud failed to impress last game. If not DCL as I'm a Newcastle supporter and we're usually the perfect cure for a rival player's dry spell.

Re: Kane replacement poll
Other... contemplating Aguero, but would require hits or WC as I already have three City. Failing that, a Chelsea punt... Abraham or Werner

I already have Antonio and Watkins. DCL for me I think. Everton have 2 games in hand on some teams and Newcastle tomorrow. More importantly Digne and Hames back. Gives me loads of money to upgrade to Man City players elsewhere.

I'll probably end up going for DCL but Antonio is tempting with Liverpool's CB injuries.

I don't have him but would have brought him in. I think DCL and Antonio are good choices.
What about Son? Should we be holding him or replacing?

Re: Kane replacement poll
Am I the only one considering holding? Bought at 10.6 and with no particularly obvious transfer I don't mind the thought of benching him for a couple of GWs.

Re: Kane replacement poll
If I knew he would be back for the WBA game then this would be very attractive. Normally wouldn't want to leave so much money on the bench, but right now it doesn't matter so much.
It would mean I could do Bamford to DCL, and instead of Bamford stinking up my bench I'd have Kane, who I will definitely want back at some point.

Re: Kane replacement poll
I think I'll hold for now (tonight's drop doesn't affect me), bank the transfer, and hope for a little more information. If he's back for WBA that's great. If it's more long term I'll reconsider.eastcentral1 wrote: ↑29 Jan 2021, 17:36If I knew he would be back for the WBA game then this would be very attractive. Re: Kane replacement poll
Telegraph have just published an article (paywall) with the headline that Spurs are optimistic that his injury is not as bad as first feared. Hopefully there will be some more info this eve. If I was you and had bought him for 11.6 I'd hold. But I just bought him a few days ago...

Re: Kane replacement poll
Bought him for 10.5 but sold up as money isn't much of a bother.
Gone dcl like our next 2 games and the return of Digne and James bang in form.

I think this is very sound reasoning.eastcentral1 wrote: ↑29 Jan 2021, 17:36If I knew he would be back for the WBA game then this would be very attractive. Normally wouldn't want to leave so much money on the bench, but right now it doesn't matter so much.

Re: Kane replacement poll
I've already used my FT this week and will hold onto Kane. There's always the possibility that Mourinho bills Kane's return game as WBA and then surprises Chelsea with him. Bamford can replace Kane this week for me and am not too bothered about a price drop.From4corners wrote: ↑30 Jan 2021, 06:37I think this is very sound reasoning.eastcentral1 wrote: ↑29 Jan 2021, 17:36If I knew he would be back for the WBA game then this would be very attractive. Re: Kane replacement poll
Went for DCL in the end . Fixtures over form and maybe a DGW to come?
There is so little news on Kane surely he’s had scan by now. I’ve heard 1-2 weeks and 1-2 months being touted ...

I’m holding this week as well. Until an accurate prognosis appears.MPTree wrote:Am I the only one considering holding? Bought at 10.6 and with no particularly obvious transfer I don't mind the thought of benching him for a couple of GWs.

Why do I keep listening to peoples "advice" on this forum? Can't believe I transferred DCL in without even given him a thought before reading around here.... I wanted Jesus.

Re: Kane replacement poll
Might knock Kane on the head until at least GW30.
Gonna test the waters with Werner for a few GWs, then move to Vardy for GW26-27.
