It’s definitely doable. Last season someone came 30th-ish having only started in gameweek four!

I take it Home advantage is a really big thing in this game as seen loads of teams on twitter with every player at home

Think I ended up with just over 70. Missed the leak about Harte being benched which was annoying. Only 1 of my mids returning this week

Midfielders are oddly useless a lot of the time in this game. Last season I spent a lot of time waiting for the likes of Pires and Kewell to come good, and they never did! Apart from Man U and Spurs mids, it *may* be worth thinking about slimming down the midfield and going ‘big at the back and front’.

Some monster scores out there this week, and I see we have a member at 26 in the OR...

Im having a complete mare, not sure i even broke the average Gw score.

Maybe hits are not that big of a deal in this game like FPL and wingers seems to do a lot better than CM do (i.e lampard, gerrard) although poyey seems decent.

Reckon I'm gonna do Valakari Petkov as I have .5 itb and have Whalley 1st sub. Gonna use 1 of the free hits for the double then as I only have a few at home for GW5, who will mostly have home games again in GW6. Might be scary having no United players for 1 week though. Can get a nice team with 11 home games and 6 doublers.

Also lampard and Gerrard pretty useless on this game it would seem, so after the DGW i might hit my WC and re shuffle this team now i know who is who.

This petkov fella looks like a must have and Hughes for Newcastle is decent.

Im tempted to bring in Arca and Phillips on WC who not done much yet but have potential.

Jansen (C) next week, so hopefully De boer gets back where he belongs.
