Same here, back once again for more punishment.

Currently dithering totally over my team and working out how best to take advantage of Utd and City late starts.

Good luck to all of us.

Yeah, my plan (I think) is to start with Man U players as required, but put in a couple of placeholders (Spurs, Everton, or Southampton) in and replace with City after the 3-1.

My brain can only cope with one team. Even 2 was too much one season. lol. No City or Utd players for me in week 1. More Arsenal than I was expecting there to be tbh. I have a feeling they will do well this season.

Same here, tried two one season (one in another game admittedly) and it nearly did me in!

I seem to have a couple of Arsenal in as well and could even be three. No Manc players till next week also with plans to move on to them.

I've only ever had one, managing another that was supposed to do well would be a nightmare, lol. I have thought about a wooden spoon team. TBH I'm not motivated to sort my team right now but guess I'll get into it when it gets going.

How's everyone doing with their single entries? I have probably had my best start with 115pts and top 2000. Having Salah and Son from the start, and adding KDB last night are the big contributors.

106 here. Mane, Son and a recent KDB.

3 subs done, it’s having 40 which causes the itchy fingers.

Feels hard to find the right balance this year.

95 for me, just inside the top 12k. So a decent enough start.

2 transfers so far - decided to jump on City (Jesus and Foden) last night, rather than wait until next week. And then they both scored, which helped a bit 8-)

Nice one. I am sure that top 2000 will be a season highlight for me so wanted to get it captured here for mid March 2021 Mins to look back on fondly.

Not a great start for me, 74pts and two transfer down. Doubling up on Sheffield United cheap defence seems to have been a bad choice lol .. coupled with some early injuries, team needs a bit of a reshuffle.

107 points and 3 transfers down, including a remarkably poorly timed Bednarek to Marcal. Also need to deal with Greenwood.

I've had a very good start. 110 and zero transfers. I missed the transfer deadline (happens a lot since last season) to transfer in KDB and Foden which means I don't quite have what I could have had. Still it's a good platform to build from.

Bad 2nd week and on an uninspiring 79pts down at 36k. Also brought in Marcal so need to review that and also how I integrate MC and maybe Spurs assets. Target is always a top 1k finish so work to do.

88 points and just outside top 20000. Not fantastic but not disastrous either. My defence looks a bit flimsy and not sure Soucek was a great idea but I do have Aubamayeng, Ings, KDB & James Rodriguez, so plenty of firepower.

After this week's round of games - 125 pts, 15987th. No transfers used this week and climbed around 4000 places, which I'm happy with. Walker-Peters, Mane, Soucek and Ings were my only players who scored more than appearance points.

116pts, 25,138th so a point worth 1000 places at the moment. May have used a few transfers 🤔

127 points, 14k position, but no less than five  transfers burned already. Injuries to Son and Jesus didn't help, of course.

149, 2,595th position. Used 3 transfers, all this weekend, 2 on City players so hoping Sunday was just a blip!

158 points. 1161 position. Used a few not excessive and feel comfortable with my team. Well placed to make changes. It’ll all go down hill from here no doubt.

Posting here after each round of games seems to be the easiest way of keeping track of my team position this season. After the last round of games: 171pts, 11872nd. 46 points this week with 12 coming from Salah who I transferred in on Sunday. Vardy came in for me as well so that's 2 transfers used, taking me to 4 for the season. Team looks pretty good I think with Gomez being my primary concern at the moment - he's still on 0 points!

288pts for 21373 place. Minimal progress. And more transfers burnt.

Is the crazy nature of the season making it even harder for singles to pin down a decent team or is it just me having a mare!! 🤔

Sounds like you just started with a couple of duff players, a good use of your transfers and you can soon make up some ground. I always play as a single entrant. This year because of the different(crap) website I accidently added 2 extra teams on separate occasions playing around without realising until reading my emails. I made all 3 teams the same. I am only using the first team which I named. My team is on 360 points with 7 transfers used(3 wasted on Son thanks to Jose). The other 2 are on 313points with all 40 transfers

How are all the single entry teams getting on out there? Any in the top 1000?

I'm in 4429th and have used 13 subs already, which is not ideal! Did well to sit on my hands this week though and am top of my works league of 22 players so feeling good about that.
