GW38 Plan - Whatever your situation, priorities?

Post by raoul »

Whether you are filling out a FH or WC, or just shuffling final transfers, what is your shopping list for GW38?

Burnley defenders?
David Silva?
Auba?

Pope and Pieters

Silva? Not for me.

Auba for a cricket score. Maybe captain?

Id love David Silva, but could not afford the switch from Foden to him.

So went for the Burnley double up and swapped Boly for Pieters.

Im feeling very envious of those with there FH

Want Sterling as I feel he's the main threat to my mini league lead. Just don't know how to bring him in.

You could straight swap him for Salah.

Want Salah too :mrgreen:

Might have to be the way though, anything else would be for a hit.

I'm 5 points behind the leader in my mini-league, so I think I'm going to be cautious and use my 1 free transfer to swap Jimenez for Aubameyang, as he's got the Arsenal striker and I fear the worst against Watford.

I'll just have to trust that the rest of my team is better than his, now that his high scoring free hit team from last week is no more.

Probably

Jimi and Doc out for Kane/Aubs and Lewis Dunk ( an fpl fav of mine)

Or may just be sensible and do Doc to Robbo or Jimi to Ings. I don't tend to go with the flow so anything is possible

Lets face it, Jimi could sink that Chelsea defence though

I'm 100 points ahead in a points league and have been knocked out of a H2H league so kind of nothing to play for apart from overall rank. I still have TC chip to play so pondering who to get in/pick to get a big points haul. Currently thinking either De Bruyne or Son but with 2 free transfers I could get in:

Jesus
Mahrez
Sterling
Auba
Kane

What do ppl think or have they got any other options I've not considered?

Two frees and a TC chip to play, was and probably still am looking to shift Foden and bring in two playing man city assets assuming we get some pre deadline news.

103 points ahead in my cash league, nothing else to play for apart from overall, 1ft.. so not much flexibility, probably a boring saiss > Burnley defender.

Rank around 40k , 27 behind the mini league of like to win.

Would like 25k .

Just think 38 is a bit of a lottery . Will bring D Silva in , and hopefully get some team news whether I need to do something like
Doherty - > burnley defender
Foden -> dsilva
Or maybe KDB won’t start and Foden will and can do
KDB->Dsilva
And then something punty Like
Jimenez -> lacaZette

Would probably just be happy to get 11 started For -4 or less and take my chances

Ju trying to maintain a couple of mini league leads, I'm over 50 points clear in the both. The closest challenger in one (the one I'm less arsed about) has a FH to play so I fully expect to see Sterling (c).

My main problem this week is my defence. Taylor out, Cresswell a doubt (I suspect out), leaves me TAA, Digne and Boly and I'm actually a little nervous about the first two of them being benched as well.

My three transfer options are 1) Taylor to Pieters 2) Fernandes to Mahrez/Silva or 3) Salah to Sterling (c).

The first one gives me less worry about getting a defence out and covers Burnley assets in other teams. The second one is a little more of a luxury move (though I doubt the FHer will have Fernandes, the other guy will and also has Mahrez). The third one is the one that makes me feel like I can't get chinned by a massive Sterling haul. Neither of them had Salah and I doubt either will have.

No idea what to do...

Can you not check how many transfers an opponent has made for this gameweek anymore?
