GW38+ Free Hit
Fixtures look good for Man City & Arsenal. Fancy Burnley to beat Brighton and wouldn't be surprised to see plenty of goals in Spurs v Palace and Liverpool v Newcastle. Whether Bournemouth and Villa have anything still left to play for will be a factor re Everton and Antonio (who in any case will likely be popular).
First draft:
Pope
Bardsley Digne Cresswell
KdB SilvaD Salah Sterling Son
Auba Wood
<bench fodder>
Man City assets will of course be a final call depending minutes / rotation clues. Waiting in the wings are Kane, Laca, Jimi, Fernandes and Mahrez. Now it's audition time.

Looks good
My budget wouldn’t quite stretch to that but, if he looks like playing, Mahrez instead of Sterling opens up a lot of options such as Ings instead of Wood
Fernandes instead of Son is another possibility. Granted Leicester is a tougher game but if Man U need a result I see everything going through him

Yes, Stanislas a good shout, especially if looking to save budget.
Fernandes likewise. It would be doubly annoying if he gets one of his away hauls, as he'll be in most non FH teams.

Re: GW38+ Free Hit
No harm in planning in advance
Glad I held the chip and didn't play this week looking at the low scores from the likely candidates thus far. Of course, the same could happen again in GW38+ with some already popping their flip flops on, which is why I wouldn't discount the likes of Bruno / Martial who have trickier fixtures but something still to play for (in lieu of TAA / Mane / Salah say - noting the race for golden boot)

If I had my FH chip:
Pope
(Martin)
TAA
Cresswell
Digne
(Tarkowski)
(Bednarek)
D. Silva
Sterling / Mahrez (depends who starts in GW37+)
Pulisic
Son
Richarlison
Aubameyang
Jesus
(Connolly)
0.0 ITB if Sterling, 3.2 if Mahrez

Re: GW38+ Free Hit
I can understand why people are not including Man United assets in their FH teams because there are so many good (perhaps better) options, but on the other hand I wouldn't be surprised if Man United assets were top scorers in this gameweek.

Re: GW38+ Free Hit
I have a team value of 108.5 ready for GW38 FH. I planned this out last week, but have since seriously gone off TAA. He’s averaged <2 points per game since the return. I can afford most options, but removing TAA would give make it effectively carte Blanch.
Current draft:
Martinez (Woodman)
C. Taylor / Tierney / Van Dijk (3.9m/3.9m)
Sterling / Salah / Son / Foden / Fernándes
Jesus / Aubameyang (Greenwood)
That had 0.3 itb but has no doubt changed.
Considerations will need to be made on injuries/form. At the moment it looks like Taylor could miss out, and think that fitting in D.Silva is an absolute must, so may need to reduce elsewhere.

Re: GW38+ Free Hit
What is worth mentioning about GW38+ is that all the teams have a little more rest time after the previous game than at any other time during project restart, so certain targets are likely to be a little fresher / better rested than in the last few gameweeks. Not decided yet whether that will equate to more goals or better defences!

Re: GW38+ Free Hit
I'll probably save my wildcard for GW38, so for all intents and purposes it is essentially my free hit.
I think I'll wait until we know what's actually still at stake come the last day of the season before thinking too much about it now however. That's often a big factor and for that reason I'm surprised at how many are dumping their United assets.
Trying to predict 3 starting City players is probably the only given thus far.

Re: GW38+ Free Hit
I have Digne myself but it dawned on me a couple of weeks ago that next Sunday is potentially Baines's last game for Everton. Does anyone with any Everton knowledge have any insight on what might happen there?

Activated mine just now. Did Aurier Cresswell as Aurier is due to drop and also did Patricio Martinez as he is due to rise. Rest of the team is still to be decided but all those .1s could be important!
