Martial, although it would be Fernandes if I owned him.

Apparently Spurs were the first team not to have a shot on target against Bournemouth in five years. FIVE YEARS!
Anyway Martial for me, Bruno vice, now that we're in some weird footballing twilight zone where the only reliable players in our team are Man Utd players.

Currently on Vardy but very tempted to play safe (Fernandes) to protect mini-league position though.
Watch this, you can actually pinpoint the second where my season rips in half.

I captained Fernandes vs SHU and he returned me 6 points. I’ve since moved it around and got 28 captain points whilst leaving on Fernandes would have got me 88...
Think it will have to go back on Fernandes and in turn, an inevitable blank.

Same thoughts as mine tbh - and Sterling is due a haulSutter Kane wrote: ↑10 Jul 2020, 09:29I might captain Sterling. I can see them scoring more goals than Man United and Sterling appears to be in a good place form/energy wise.
Fernandes is relentless FPL wise but of course we 'know' that his points are unsustainable.

I am punting on Sterling.
If Brighton try to play it out from the back, he could have a picnic.

Re: GW 35+ Captain Thread
Decided to go with Vardy, he got 16 points against Bournemouth last time out and there in worse shape now than back then.
Bruno or Martial would be the safe bet, but i think Southampton turned a corner recently so it wont be a walk over like the other teams we have played.

Vardy 21 points last 2 games.
Check his stats, he rather goes on a run of goals or blanks.

I so hope you are right. I've been avoiding him due to his lower underlying stats compared to the front three Man U players.Sutter Kane wrote: ↑10 Jul 2020, 09:29

Sure, I'm not saying he is a bad pick in itself (I'm considering him as well) , just that Leicester played better before the lockdown. Eager as well so I'd say go for him, and I hope it will pay off for you!Stevieste wrote: ↑10 Jul 2020, 09:48Vardy 21 points last 2 games.

Shame perthing, chillwell and Maddison are not all fit and playing, as Leicester could go up another level with them all fit.
I prefer it when Harvey Barnes plays as well, he seems to provide a lot of Assists for Vardy

Re: GW 35+ Captain Thread
You have some great options this week.
Martial has some very impressive points at home recently and you also have Mane who guaranteed to start after last game and could score well if they run out 4-0 winners.
Good position to be in i guess

Martial looked frustrated, when came off last night as he had not scored and Ole gave him a little smile as if to say don't worry you will next game.
Some great options this week and Bruno seems the obvious one, but can he really keep up with them high scoring returns each week.
