Hiya
Am I being Dumb?
How come we are putting a list together for game week 33+ , When the current Gameweek hasn't finished yet and therefore will affect the order.
Cheers

- Since the table ranking time so near to waiver deadline, we will use ranking to the prvious gamweek. For example: Total ranking to gameweek 30+ is use for registered list order for GW32+ (as gameweek 31+ ranking time is to close).
This process is just apply for 1 player per team, any other tranfers follow the new league order.

Re: New money league recruitment, mini-draft every week
Jok is spot on. I think. I am confused .
So for example if i go second do i i still only get last pick the following week. Say i go second next gw. Then the picks are based on this weeks standing so i will get last pick again and top will get an earlier pick? Is this right. If so am i not at a major disadvantage being top and desperate for an half decent player in the shower of $h*t i have available, especially with so few gws left . It is going to completely screw the order and the integrity.. any player who overtakes you in a gw gets a better pick than you . It is so close at moment this could really affect the game. Please do tell me if i am wrong with what i am thinking though
We all have 24 hours or more to make picks so the different timezones should not make a difference. I put a calender entry in my phone. Can we not play it as it should be. What you all think?

To be fair I don't mind either way; but the short timescales between final game in the GW / league update and waiver deadline are extremely tight and I'm not sure we are slick enough to sort out out round one waiver choices in that time tbh?

Yer i understand. I do feel like the rules are going against me a little though as i am sure you can see yourself. Ah well , out of my hands. The integrity is gone no matter what we do.thebillfella wrote: ↑29 Jun 2020, 21:52 To be fair I don't mind either way; but the short timescales between final game in the GW / league update and waiver deadline are extremely tight and I'm not sure we are slick enough to sort out out round one waiver choices in that time tbh?
This game is all about the lower position getting a chance to get back into it by given the option of the best player. That has been destroyed with the new rule.

I now understand that the register is for only 1 pick and the order is based on our overall standings after the Gameweek prior to the gameweek that is currently running.
One advantage for you Dareel is if you remain in 6th spot in the new league you will get second pick in the first round of waivers instead of last pick if you are still 1st in the overall league.

Haha you should try having 7th pick mate. Down to the proper dregs, not sure 8th pick too is much use lol
I realised i still got my get out of jail card so there is at least one week i don't lose my high scoring player . Maybe that can help
Anyway i am going to stop ranting now. It is only a tenner. It has been a strange old season. We will not have these issues next time

Exactly. Swings and roundabouts, but the new rule is far more advantageous now to those at the top of the overall league than it was pre-lockdown! You think 7th pick is bad; wait until you get to 14th pick!

Re: New money league recruitment, mini-draft every week
Gw32+ waivers deadline just after gw31+ table ranking time about 1.5 hour. With that short of time, we cannot do anything . Some following gws is also as close as this. I see it so I choose this way so that we can make it. It's not about to against top rankers. Anyone had ever been on the top all had his hard time.

Another thing is: registered deadline is before 24 hours of waiver deadline. It's our time to check our waivers, make sure to not getting faults. This registered deadline is before the table ranking time of some gws, so I choose to use the previous gw ranking.

Reading this it strikes me as another example of it being alright for fpl towers to say "If you want to play for the rest of the season then start a new league", but actually doing it is bloody complicated.
Best of luck with this game for the rest of the season everyone.

Dareel, its not all against you, you did make some crafty forward thinking transfers that you wouldnt have otherwise had access to in a normal year, when other players had stopped playing due to the interuption. Im also at the bottom of the picks, gosh we have all had a great time for our ten pounds and everyone is still in with a chance as rotations and inuries set in the further we go. The biggest problem I have, is waiting for you lot to get your picks in - Will?

Let’s crack on and finish the season as best as we can.Its been a really interesting and enjoyable draft game, much better than a standard boring draft game which can often leave you with no chance of competing with a team at the top. With this game we have all had a chance of winning. No one could have seen what was coming around the corner to disrupt the game.Good luck to everyone.
