Child birth effect on Jimenez

Post by shmiro »

Like many, I am very interested in including Jimenez in my WC team.
However, reading about Jimenez’s wife due birth any day now, I am a bit concerned:

1. Jimenez might miss a game due to the birth.
2. The newborn might cause Jimenez to sleep worse and to be distracted in the close future.
3. For instance, Vardy started a long blanking period just after his child birth earlier this season.

What do u guys think?

my wife too due any day, and I am Raoul! Twins :)

Wonder if it will also affect my FPL performance

I currently have Jimenez. Naturally with tight-packed games he is surely going to miss one game. And yes he is likely to be at least a little jaded when he plays.

Thanks for the info. Could be important I think.

He certainly ain't firing blanks if his wife's due.

Wolves at home tom nite

still in the midlands as away Villa Saturday lunchtime.

Then no game till at home on the POM ( pubs opening day) Sat July 4th.

with all the games being local to where he lives ( i assume he lives in Wolves) you should be ok

That was 9 months ago. I am only interested in current form.

Respect to Jiminez though, how was he to know about the delayed season. Great of him to think of FF players and plan to have the baby in the off season. Thumb print Vardy and others take note!

Haha maybe it’s u Jimenez :)

Thing is, if Jimenez plays less minutes it surely means that Jota plays more, making him more attractive (while he already is imo)

He's been playing football flat-out with seldom breaks between 2016-2019 with the Confederations Cup (2017), World Cup (2018), CONCACAF Gold Cup and our qualifying rounds in Europa (2019).

Tiredness isn't in the man's DNA.

They probably don't want to be away playing football whilst their wife is in labor though. I'm guessing they can be nearby somewhere

Also reduces the risk of injury if the missus can't abuse and attack him for putting her through the pain of childbirth

yes they are, and always have been (in England).

They do however get asked to leave shortly after birth, so I guess he can pop home and get some sleep if he wishes.

I believe his missus is due early July so we should at least get Bournemouth and Aston Villa out of Jimenez.

My advice is to catch up on sleep now.
Double trouble is more than double the work to begin with. You’ll have plenty of time awake at odd hours to do FISO.
Whether you’re awake enough to exert good judgement is another thing

Best wishes and good luck

Presumably your twin always picks an FPL team full of RBs. Image
