BB and Unlimited Transfer?

Last week it was confirmed the Premier League season will resume on 17 June if all safety requirements are in place.
And today we’re pleased to let you know Fantasy Premier League is open again for FPL managers to prepare for the season 2019/20 run-in. But you’ll notice we’ve made the following changes:
• The remaining season’s fixtures have been allocated new Gameweeks
• Each new Gameweek is indicated by a ‘+’ (e.g. GW30+, GW31+, GW32+)
• GW30+ is a double Gameweek starting with two midweek fixtures (AVLSHU and MCIARS) followed by a full round of 10 matches
• FPL managers can make unlimited free transfers until the GW30+ deadline without playing a wildcard
• Prices of players will not change until after the GW30+ deadline has passed
• Any unused Wildcards or chips will remain available for use before the end of the season
• Triple Captain, Bench Boost and Free Hit chips are available in GW30+
The Gameweek 30+ deadline is Wednesday 17 June at 17:00 BST, an hour before Aston Villa v Sheffield United kicks off at Villa Park.

BB makes sense, but it won't be easy to build a solid team if you want Aguero, Auba, KdB while retaining Mane/Salah, TAA, Jimenez...

looking at my team now, it looks very good for GW31
I'd love to just FH for GW31 and then continue with my GW31, I obviously can do that, but then no idea when to BB uhhh what to do
stupid unlimited transfers

Unlimited transfer before GW30
So lads we essentially have a free wildcard. What’s the perfect team/chip combo (obvs bench boost) we’re going for?

Re: Unlimited Transfers, and a GW 30+ (39) with chips. What now?
My initial thought is
BB30+ with lots of SHU and AVL defs.
WC31+ to get in some LIV and MUN players.
FH32+ to avoid MCI vs LIV and catch ARS vs NOR, CHE at WHU and TOT at SHU.
But might not have enough info to WC in 31+ though, and it has a tricky CHE vs MCI. It also might be a waste of a WC to play it consecutive with another.

Exact same situation. Having written off playing the FH if it was unlimited transfers I am now coming round to the idea as it helps with the retaining Liverpool etc. players post the DGW...(because I don't still have the WC).

Re: Unlimited Transfers, and a GW 30+ (39) with chips. What now?
Fixturewise, what do you think?
More favourable (GW30+ to GW32+)
Wolves: West Ham (away), Bournemouth (home), Villa (away), Arsenal (home).
Arsenal: City + Brighton (both away), Southampton (home), Norwich (away), Wolves (away).
Newcastle: Sheffield Utd (home), Villa (home), Bournemouth (away), West Ham (home).
Leicester: Watford (away), Brighton (home), Everton (away), Palace (home).
Less favourable (GW30+ to GW32+)
West Ham: Wolves (home), Spurs (away), Chelsea (home), Newcastle (away).
Brighton: Arsenal (home), Leicester (away), Man United (home), Norwich (away).
Everton: Liverpool (home), Norwich (away), Leicester (home), Spurs (away).
& Man City (?): Arsenal + Burnley (both home), Chelsea (away), Liverpool (home), Southampton (away)
P.S. Bear in mind that after the first two weeks of German Bundesliga, after the corona-break just 21% of all home games have been won, in comparison to the season’s 41% average before the break. The lack of fans appears to have removed the home advantage affect there.

Re: Unlimited Transfers, and a GW 30+ (39) with chips. What now?
Figured it would be interesting to see which FPL players were on fire just before football’s suspension. In order to keep it relatively “ current”, have looked at just gameweeks 27, 28 and 29; the three last rounds before the break.
PLAYER POSITION in FPL TEAM FORM
Diogo Jota Forward Wolves 3 goals, 1 assist, 30 pts
Bruno Fernandes Midfield Man United 2 goals, 1 assist, 30 pts
Marcos Alonso Defender Chelsea 3 goals, 30 pts
Pablo Fornals Midfield West Ham 1 goal, 2 assists, 16 pts
Ismaila Sarr Midfield Watford 2 goals, 1 assist, 22 pts
Harvey Barnes Midfield Leicester 2 goals, 1 assist, 22 pts
Jordan Ayew Forward Crystal Palace 2 goals, 1 assist, 18 pts
Dominic Calvert-Lewin Forward Everton 2 goals, 15 pts

Re: Unlimited Transfers, and a GW 30+ (39) with chips. What now?
WC31+ is interesting, LEI - BHA, TOT - WHU, LIV - CRY... some great fixtures, of course none of them with DGW in GW30+ so can't really use your free transfers to get them in. Spurs fixtures from GW31+ till the end of the season are very good so Kane might be a must (this is why I got him using FTs during the break... stupid FPL)Stemania wrote: ↑08 Jun 2020, 16:10 My initial thought is

FH32+ might not be needed if you WC in GW31+, you wouldn't be getting any City players on your wildcard probably (CHE away) and you can bench 2 Liverpool players (although I'd probably play them), so that leaves Arsenal (they play SOU in GW31+ so you might get Auba on your wildcard anyway) and Chelsea at WHU where you could just use your FT to get Tammy in

Re: Unlimited Transfers, and a GW 30+ (39) with chips. What now?
I managed to put together a decent looking team to BB in GW30 (9 or 10 players with DGW) that I'd be happy to retain going forward, however using my FH is still pretty tempting as then I don't have to worry about my GW31 at all (since it looks quite good now)
I still have my WC too that I'd probably use in preparation for BB towards the end of the season

According to some bod on here: better teams do better without the crowd (dis)advantage. So all aboard Wolves with no EL?

As an alternative, you might have just made a good case for FH31+, with WC some time soon after! (No rush for Liverpool back in if they play City in GW32+):
BB30+
FH31+
GW32+ Transfer out a big City player for best alternative for one week.
WC33+ to get LIV.
Though maybe Pool have title wrapped up by then.

doesn't look too bad considering they all play Brighton, West Ham, Palace and Bournemouth at home

More likely, imho. Although I believe the idea is for those to be en bloc post season.
In theory they could be 1 off matches somewhere neutral behind closed doors?
