Last Man Standing 2020
This years competition begins on the 23rd January with the Dubai Desert Classic.
As always it is free to enter with a £40 cash prize to the winner.
Previous winners:
sportsmeister 2019
Spencer4 2018
Dad Dancer 2017
Topspur 2016
Nevblake 2015
Mo Bot 2014
Here are the rules:
1. The competition will run for 40 weeks.
2. Each player must pick a golfer each week who they think will make the cut.
3. You can only choose the same golfer once over the 40 weeks. Picking a golfer twice and he will be deemed to have missed the cut (this includes 'no-cut' events). You can pick a golfer a second time if he was involved in a tournament that was cancelled with less than 2 rounds played.
4. Picks must be made prior to first tee time. Failure to post any choice = missed cut.
5. Players who pick a golfer who finishes in the top 3 and ties will receive points - 1st = 20pts, 2nd = 10pts, 3rd 5pts.
Points will only come into play in the event of a tie.
6. If you choose a player that misses the cut, you lose a mulligan. If you miss the cut on 3 occasions (and haven't won any mulligans) you are eliminated from the game. Players who pick a golfer who withdraws during a no cut event will not be penalised.
7. If a golfer withdraws or is disqualified before the cut = missed cut. After the cut = safe. Players who fail to make a pick on a particular week will lose a mulligan (even in a no cut event)
8. A player who has picked a golfer that has missed the cut will lose a mulligan (if you have no mulligans you are eliminated from the game. If a player picks the winning golfer they will receive a mulligan (as well as 20 points).
9. If after 40 weeks more than one player has survived, the winner will be the player with the most points. if still tied, the person with the most mulligans left will be deemed the winner. If all survivors have the same points and mulligans, the prize money will be split evenly between the tied players.
10. At the start of the game each player will begin with 2 mulligans. Any player picking a cut golfer and has no mulligans will be eliminated. Eliminated players will return to the top league once the prize pot has been won.
11. Prizes: £1 will be added to the pot each week. (Total prize money available £40) If for example we have just one player left after 17 weeks, that player wins the prize pot of £17. The competition continues on week 18 with everybody back in with 2 mulligans.
12. Players can change their picks prior to the first tee off time, but must make a new post and not amend their previous post.
13. You are free to choose the same golfer as other players.
14. Posting format: to help me and yourself you must post your new picks as a copy and paste of your previous choices. This should help avoid players picking the same golfer twice.
15. Only European Tour sanctioned competitions count. No cut events will be included when their will be no mulligans lost, but an opportunity for points and mulligans. In the event that two sanctioned Competitions take place in the same week, you may choose 1 player only from either tournament. In the event that a tournament is cancelled while in mid-play, no mulligans or points will be awarded. No players will lose a mulligan or be eliminated if less than 2 rounds are completed.
If you join us late and miss the first week, you can still play - but you lose a mulligan.
Remember and copy & paste your previous predictions to help you avoid duplicate choices.

Re: Last Man Standing 2020
We kick off in Dubai this year which is appropriate as we will also finish there.
A strong field means their is a lot of quality to pick from.
Remember that the UAE is 4 hours ahead of UK time.
