Lundstram with 13 shots over their last three games. Is he playing in a more advanced role from anyone’s eye test? I’ve viewed him as a rotator but if he’s getting multiple shots a game then I may just treat him as my D3.

Just play him. He arrives in the box when one of the forwards moves wide. Essentially their third striker.Turd Ferguson wrote:Lundstram with 13 shots over their last three games. Lundstram(wol) is on my bench this week too, but I’d rather he played.
Who would you drop though? Mount(WHU)? Tielemans(EVE)? That’s the choice

Digne away to Leicester and Hayden at Man City let the bench boosting side down though!

Looking at his heatmaps it doesn't look like it's changed significantly in recent matches.Turd Ferguson wrote: ↑26 Nov 2019, 23:03 Lundstram with 13 shots over their last three games. Looks more like a wide right sided midfielder than I envisaged too. Thought it would show him much more central. Cant actually find a heatmap from a Sheff Utd player that is central!

Re: Specious Theoretic Chatter (The free-for-all shared-RMT thread 19/20)
Cheers. It's a tough one for me because I think Sheffield will have staying power in the Prem, but I also think they've overperformed. I'd peg them for another 6 or 7 clean sheets the rest of the way.ajcairns wrote: ↑27 Nov 2019, 12:21Looking at his heatmaps it doesn't look like it's changed significantly in recent matches.Turd Ferguson wrote: ↑26 Nov 2019, 23:03 Lundstram with 13 shots over their last three games. I ran a regression on a few season's worth of data between goals allowed and clean sheets. The y-intercept was about 24, and you get -.25 clean sheets for every goal allowed thereafter. So if you allow 20 goals you'd expect about 19 clean sheets. If you allow 40 goals, 14 clean sheets. 60 goals, only 9 clean sheets.
Based on Sheffield's goals allowed thus far, they're on pace for 35 goals against, which is good for about 15 clean sheets historically. However, their xGA is over 17, which implies about 50 goals allowed and 11 clean sheets for the season.
Lundstram needs those attacking returns to be a true starter, in which case you can ditch a premium defender and pump more money into attack. I reckon it's a squad structure decision I'll put off until GW18 when Liverpool blank and Leicester's good run ends. We can certainly start him for the next 6 fixtures.

^^ Same here. Hopping Tammy is only bruised and will make an appearance at West Ham. Bench boost deployed I should have waited until closer to the deadline.

Re: Specious Theoretic Chatter (The free-for-all shared-RMT thread 19/20)
Thanks dino . Yes it seems it can be cancelled. I took a -4 to play it though when I changed Pieters to Taylor and to get Gazzaniga to replace my non playing goalkeeper. I do have Gazzaniga to cover Pope for the City match and the hit to get Taylor should be paid off with his first clean sheet My squad has such good fixtures this week it would be a shame to waste it I must remember no more hits unless blah says it is OK
Edit to add hits do not count in 5AS and the first game week in each round of the divisional championships.
Shameless plug for the Divisional championships Round 3 kicks off at the GW14 deadline if any new players want to be added just post on the Divisional championship thread or PM me with your FPL id number The Sunday league is up to 9 players and 119 in total.

Re: Specious Theoretic Chatter (The free-for-all shared-RMT thread 19/20)
Banking this week I think and will need to do something about Mount soon.
Right to bench him this week?
Pope (MCI)
Alexander-Arnold (EVE), Tomori (AST), Soyuncu (WAT), Lundstram (NEW)
De Bruyne (bur), Mane (EVE), Son (mun), Maddison (WAT)
Vardy (WAT), Abraham (AST)
Subs: Mount (AST), Rico (cry), Greenwood (TOT)
He'll probably come in for Tammy anyway.

I'd play him ahead of Tomori, I actually have both of those on my bench this week with Mount S1 and Tomori S2.

OK have done the same.
Do many people still have the wildcard left? Wondering if its worth banking transfers when I might use it at any time.
I could shift Pope this week for example.

I’m resisting the urge to make a transfer this week and will most likely bench Tomori from my Chelsea trio.
With that being the case, I might do Tomori -> Kelly at some point to save some pennies.

Just having a read of the forum (I've not been involved this year at all!) and now quite tempted by Mount to Zaha or Pope to Henderson.
Damn, didn't realise the deadline was 7:30! Thought I had another 5 mins!
