Frank Lampard has said that Emerson Palmieri "won’t be back until the other side of the international break. It will be a few weeks because it is the reoccurrence of an injury so we have to be a bit careful with it". (chelseafc.com)

Is Lanzini back?

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini: "We continue without Michail Antonio and Winston Reid. The rest of the players are okay.
"Manuel Lanzini returned to work with the team in the last three or four days. He doesn't have any pain in his feet."

"Kevin De Bruyne suffered a groin injury in the win over Everton and will miss tonight’s game against Dinamo Zagreb.

The extent of his layoff depends on how well he responds to the rehabilitation programme overseen by the Club’s medical staff".

Nothing 'official' but Liverpool Echo reporting that Mo Salah's injury isn't as bad as feared after assault by Choudhury.

'Salah suffered a twisted ankle in the challenge, and while there is no timescale set on his return, Liverpool are hopeful there is no long-term damage.'

Re next match v Man U on 20th - 'Salah has not yet been ruled in or out of that fixture, with it being too early in healing process for the medical staff to make a decision.'

From tottenhamhotspur.com this afternoon:

"Hugo Lloris has undergone further assessment this morning after sustaining a dislocated elbow in our match against Brighton on Saturday.

The findings have shown that although surgery will not be required, our Club Captain has suffered ligament damage and is not expected to return to training before the end of 2019".

LFC website:

Mohamed Salah returns to the Liverpool squad for Wednesday's Champions League clash with Genk, but Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joel Matip are set to miss out.

Salah takes his place among the 19 travelling players who departed John Lennon Airport on Tuesday afternoon for Belgium after missing Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Manchester United.

However, Alexander-Arnold remains on Merseyside due to a virus, as does Matip, who has a sore knee.

Liverpool squad: Alisson, Fabinho, Van Dijk, Wijnaldum, Lovren, Milner, Keita, Firmino, Mane, Salah, Gomez, Adrian, Henderson, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Lallana, Brewster, Robertson, Origi, Kelleher.

(Can only assume Salah is guaranteed to be ok as there are no outfield reserves, just 10 starters + 6 bench (+3 keepers=19))

Oleksandr Zinchenko missed last night's game against Atalanta as he "has suffered a knee injury", according to City's official website.

"The Ukrainian will be assessed over the coming days to determine the extent of the problem".

“Virgil got a dead leg,” the manager explained to Sky Sports post-match.
“Mo [Salah] is the same ankle [he injured earlier this month], it just gets sore the longer the game goes on.
“It’s not a massive issue, that will disappear one day, but it’s still a bit there at the moment.”

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Paul Pogba's ankle injury: "I don't think we'll see him before December. He'll be out for a while. He needs time to fully recover. Maybe for Sheffield United after the international break, but probably December before we can see him."

Perhaps they will give him 6 weeks in Tenerife to recuperate in warm weather with his agent.

He deserves it

Liverpool assistant manager Pepijn Lijnders, when asked about Salah and Matip, is quoted as saying: “Mo is fine".

“Towards the end of the game it is more precaution because the ankle gets more tired and he feels it a little bit more and we have to take him off. But he is fine, he is good".

“Joel’s knee is still irritated – we need to give him time. I don’t know the exact time he will need but it will really need time to heal".
