Re: Sensible blah?
Hmmmm, I am on my NFL wine fest (with cream cakes ) and I have cray Xfer thoughts
Both Citeh Def's need to go (Otabroky and Cancelo) as well as HO and herein starts the problem: Lund is nailed on but then do I get Mendy (or another Citeh Def) and can't afford Mount or Pullasicky. This leads me (maybe sooner than I like) to TAA and KdB in for Mosa and the other Citeh Def. I am still stuck with HO and Cntwell without a -8.
Hmmm....................

I would go for Martial first just because of the fixtures. KdB seems like a season keeper atm but I want Salah or Mane for the run up to Christmas.

That's my gut instinct ie Martial, but if Lpool win then the title race is done so I think Citeh will win....

Re: Sensible blah?
Didn’t Franzl conclude that is when people stop having something to live for that they give up (& given that his research was largely based on thriving - or not - in concentration camps) observed that when people gave up they’d be dead within 48 hours. It wasn’t the conditions or lack of food or...it was the loss of hope
The thought of blah’s enjoyment of suffering (having already been stung by having three ‘Pool defenders at the season’s start) made me chuckle. I suspect, on a fantasy football forum, the explanation might have been better by PM. If anyone thinks it’s not that jocular once unpacked and explained I can delete

Re: Sensible blah?
Simple choice, if a tad short on time....
Salah is a goner for TAA before the next GW ie after Citeh.
But do I go TAA now or hold Otabroky and bench him.
The Salah midfield spot is Martial, thanks to AR's chickens and HO or Cntwell will become Mount who may drop tonight. The latter is leading me to TAA for Ota.
Currently
Kaspar (Buttons)
Ota, Perthing, VvD, Robbo, Lund
Salah, Sterling, HO (Cantwell, Dendoncker)
Vardy, Tammy (Martinelli)

Well my Virtual Dog went for Pullasicky to go with Martial for Salah and Cntwell.
Next week is TAA for Otabroky and maybe HO to Mount or Hayden.
My medium term plan is Kaspar to Fab when fit and then bring Maddie or another Fix midfielder in - or Soy if the SU defence turns to......

Re: Sensible blah?
Woah... 56 plus Robbo, VvD, Martial and Sterling so all good so far.
Ota to TAA is pending due to the threat of injury - im hoping he escapes Internationals due to looming fixture congestion. The Lpool 3 will leave me short atb so replacing Martinelli isn't overly concerning me, but if I have cash and a FT, then he may become a starter for Lpool's Blank.
HO probably isn't worth a -4 to go to a 6.6m or under bod.

Re: Sensible blah?
Is there any reason not to fire Otabroky to TAA now?
HO will probably become Hayden to join the permabench of Dendonkey and Martinelli - if Price Changes are possible then I will have to ponder a Britknee as well as which Fox to get when Fab is back.....

I have the "cash" for Martial to Son for a -4. Should I?

I am looking at shifting Son out for Alli depending on how Spurs line up and perform in the next couple of matches. The cash saved can be spent on a defender upgrade when Leicester play City and Pool at Christmas. Switching back to a Leicester defender for the new year if I WC early.

Re: Sensible blah?
I'm not looking that far ahead tbh.
I like my starting XI with Martial and Pullasicky my least liked. I have no transfers planned until Fab returns, and then it is a case of a 3rd outfield Fox.
My "issue" is whether to jump on Jose's Sours and who to get. I wouldn't think twice about Son to Alli, but Son could be unaffordable very soon, then his boat has sailed....

Re: Sensible blah?
Hmmm.... so it seems that Tammy is broken, and\or being given a rest....
The obvious move seems to be Martinelli to Ings due to fixtures and not having blanked in his last 2 matches?
Then have Tammy on the bench, or Martial as 1st sub?

Well I brought Ings is
I now have 2 FT's and Martial us the one to go. Ideally I want Alli or Son, which means either Ings or Pullasicky have to go. But which?
