Planned on getting Vardy in for GW9 but changed my mind and went for Wilson instead . I've learned my lesson! Wilson Vardy this week. Have enough itb to do Otamendi Robertson and Yarmolenko CHO/Tielemans/James etc in the next few weeks also.

Plan has always been Aguero to Vardy and Dilva to KDB.

my initial plan was always to try and get Martial back in as soon as he was back.

despite the problems at United he'll score points playing as a striker and being listed as a midfielder that's too good to ignore.

However, with Leicester looking so strong it seems that Vardy is going to be the best season long striker pick; no rotation threat, on pens, no midweek games, good value, genuine C pick.

So, ignoring the lure of Martial and with two FT's I'm planning:

Wilson and Maddison to Vardy and Tielamans (or Barnes/Perez/James), the Maddison move is no doubt a sideways step but it's the cleanest way to enable Vardy and the alternative options to Maddison are looking at a simialr points level anyway.

Can just see Aguero starting and banging the goals in v Southampton but I've lost a bit of patience in him now and just don't feel he's worth the price.

Kane, jesus and Vardy the possible replacements. Vardy looks the most tempting with their run of fixtures and form.

Would also leave me 3.5m in the bank!

Wilson’s short-lived stay in my team comes to an end (3 points in the plum games Norwich and Watford) as he becomes Vardy (2 weeks too late- if ever there was form over fixtures proof this was it). Possibly Ota out with other freebie..

Think probably Cantwell to Perez, and Digne to Rico this week. I could afford up to 4.8 for a defender but likely to want to do Aguero to Connolly and Dendoncker to Salah once the Man City game is out of the way and I need the extra for that (would have 0.1 to spare).

But not sure now is good time for Perez/Leicester - teams don't always follow up massive victories with further goals, and Palace away is a tough place to score. The fixture after, Arsenal home, seems attractive though. And should make some money on Perez and maybe Rico, so think I will do it. Probably tomorrow though as no price changes likely tonight of these players.

Vardy has already risen and could easily got up .2 more. Not so sure I'd bring Perez in. He had a good game finishing wise but no way he's nailed
