Struggling between

Adrian (H, Ars) and Heaton (H, Eve)

and one of

Dunk (H, Sou), Mings (H, Eve), Stephens (H, Sou), Dendoncker (H, Bur)

Also realised I could have a starting 11 who all play at home this week if I wanted, but would involve not playing Sterling and Laporte.

Well you bought Adrian for a reason?

Probably Stephens.

Who would you Start/Bench

Post by RickyRosa »

Hoping for a steer....

I can start Pereira or Mount...

Unsure what who would be best...

Chelsea haven't been the best and are away to Norwich but Mount is imop a certain starter...

United are home to Palace but Pereira didn't start last night...

Important I get it right as I may have to utilise my bench for another possible non-starter....
Thanks in advance.

Play Mount. You said it yourself: he's the more likely to start.

Struggling with my back line for this game week:

Digne (avl)
Robertson (ARS)
Zouma (nor)
Montoya (SOU)
Soyuncu (shu)

At the moment I'm benching Zouma, but really unsure on this one.

Looks sensible to me.

I need to start one of these 4:
King (H MCI)
Ings (a BHA)
Diop (a WAT)
Dendoncker (H BUR)

I'd normally favour the forwards, but Ings is unlikely to start and King has the toughest opponent.

I've got Robertson and TAA (at the moment) and considering benching TAA to play Montoya instead. I'd probably bench Zouma too.

Change McGinn for Dunk?

I mean, I actually bought them both but what do you reckon, gameweek 3, does Aston Villa have more chance against Everton than Brighton against Southampton?

I need to leave one of them on bench, just cant decide who :/

It seems that man utd played a behind closed doors friendly on Tuesday, in which Pereira, Mata and Gomes all started.

It does feel like any of those three could start (less so Gomes I suppose) in Lingard's place, or Lingard could start.

I think for this GW you have to assume that Mount is the liklier starter and play him, but long term, you really would have to question the position of both in your FPL squad.

Pereira at 5.0 could be an absolute steal if he's playing regular minutes and able to start in your FPL team, but if not he's just taking 0.5 out of your first 11 (you could have Dendoncker or Cantwell (4.6) instead).

Mount (+ 0.5) gives you quite a lot of options should he lose his place in Lampard's lineup.

I think I’d do that, certainly not stupid.

I’m in a similar position: need to play one of King, Cantwell and Soyuncu. King is in at the moment but I’m really not sure!

I need to play one of Lundstram, Diop or Cantwell. Currently on Lundstram, but haven't seen him play before so any suggestions? And also: in which order do I bench the other two?

Thank you; great feedback.

Pereira looked liked the hidden gem when he started the first week but actually cost me points in the 2nd as he came on literally for a minute and robbed me of bench options.

Starting to think he was a mistake.

Time of course will tell but am looking at Dendonker next week as you can see above; I rate him.

I'm not sure, just going off the fact Ings didn't start last week. I might go with Dendoncker anyway - I haven't watched Wolves yet this season, but I've seen his name come up a few times in some chances they've had (including his disallowed goal in GW1).

Soyuncu seems like the best option of the three (I'm playing him ahead of the 4 players I mentioned above).

Would anyone start Dunk or Dendoncker ahead of King (or even more ridiculously Robertson)?

I'm starting Montoya and Van Dijk ahead of King so the answer to your question is yes :)
However I wouldn't start Montoya ahead of Van Dijk (or Robertson)

I'm half tempted to start Greenwood this week ahead of Ceballos, despite having brought the latter in this week. I think if I knew for sure he'd start, I'd do it.

Greenwood has made two cameo appearances totalling 5 minutes. Unless I’ve missed a confirmation that he’s a starter this week I’d put him behind Ceballos

That sounds strange to me. I would never start Greenwood ahead of Ceballos. Play Ceballos & GOOD LUCK M8!

I would start Dunk. Brighton will probably win against Soton. Dunk can also score goals.

Hi there, Dean. I would bench Hanley and Kelly. Ake can score goals... unless Hanley also is a threat offensively? Difficult one, not that good options, but I think VVD and Lundstram are nailed on. But bigger chance for Norwich to not concede against Chelsea, so maybe Hanley ahead of Ake. It's up to you if you think Norwich can. I believe they could, probably not and then Ake might score a goal. I'm just rambling right now but this might help you consider the options.

GOOD LUCK m8!

Yes, without knowing he's going to start, I can't do it. But it's tempting - a lot of United fans want him to start.
