I didn't mean with players off the bench I just meant who's going to be playing through the middle. Hopefully one of them ends up playing as a central striker every week and that's the one I'll go for.

I think it will be very fluid... but that doesn’t harm Salah and Mane or Sterling for example.
It’s not like they are being kept out on the flank like an old school winger.

It seems to be a popular approach in today's game. You see a similar thing when Auba and Lacazette play together. I can see Rashford or Martial joining my team GW3 or 4.

I am thinking Jota to Pukki. I had no plans as wanted to keep ft but I watched the game Norwich looked ok.

I've a feeling if I swap Bilva for Martial, the benching will be the other way around next gameweek.

I don't think I'd take Bernardo Silva out after one benching. He'll get plenty of game time.White Tiger wrote: ↑11 Aug 2019, 19:22 I've a feeling if I swap Bilva for Martial, the benching will be the other way around next gameweek.

You guys didn't think Jota looked good? He was wasteful but his dribbling was purposeful and he got into dangerous positions. Will return soon imo.redmen82 wrote:I am thinking Jota to Pukki. I had no plans as wanted to keep ft but I watched the game Norwich looked ok.

Europa League games and Cutrone eating some of his minutes is making me think twice about him.SirMattBugsby wrote: ↑11 Aug 2019, 20:49RuudTheDudeVanTheMan wrote:Never mind now thinking Jota Pukki or another cheap striker. You guys didn't think Jota looked good? Sounded like Zouma was pretty poor today, but plan to roll and make changes after the next round of games. First games of the season can often be very unrepresentative of what is to come.

Jota Pukki
Done.
Which led me to:
Pope
VVD, Robbo, Walker, Kiko/Rico
Salah, KDB, Moura, Martial
Auba (c), Pukki
Not so good, not so bad. I would be satisfied if Auba scores one and Sterling and Kane blank.
55 pts MAX in total is my projection for GW2. Any other opinions?

An underwhelming week, but I’ll hold.
Auba will go next week (out with a bang, I hope), as will Fraser. It could be 2 or 3 changes - I’ll be watching the 2 Mancs games carefully this weekend.

Going to roll my transfer forward but already thinking Zouma, Adams, Joelinton might not have been the smartest cheap options. Will reassess after next week.

Rolling for me I think. A good week and hopefully no injuries flagged so no need to change anything just yet. If I had one concern it would be Kane at City but I'm going to trust him to come up with the goods at the Etihad.

Slightly knee-jerk, but Wood Pukki. Just prefer the odds of Pukki v NEW (H) compared to Wood v ARS (A). Had a look at the underlying stats as well as Pukki got himself into shooting positions fairly often. I expect the Newcastle defence to be reasonably obliging

Re: Transfers Gameweek 2 - Sat 17 Aug 11:30
My reason for having a 4.5m keeper who starts is for the off chance anything happens to Ederson (eg pulls up in the warm up). Ok I’m not as sold on Gunn as I was before week 1, but hopefully he can be an ok emergency keeper if I ever need one.Bixer wrote: ↑11 Aug 2019, 17:30If you’re setting and forgetting Ederson, why do you have anything more than just a £4m keeper on the bench? That’s a wasted £0.5m IMO.Mike1989 wrote: ↑11 Aug 2019, 13:16 I’m likely to stick this week. Obviously my 5th defender (C Taylor) and 5th midfielder (Drinkwater) weren’t involved, so I’ll monitor that for the next couple of gameweeks. Same goes for Gunn, Southampton’s defence was woeful but since I’m setting forgetting with Ederson then that would be a fairly pointless move going for another 4.5m keeper. Only temptation for me right now is whether I stick with King or Redmond over other 6.5m or less options, but I’ll likely stick and wait and see what happens.

Rolling. Like to see how the teams looks after 2 weeks with a bigger sample size.
That being said, I am tempted by a Moura -> Martial.

Anyone worried about not owning Salah for the Southampton game? He could run wild, and from all accounts Southampton looked pretty toothless on Saturday.
It would cost 8 points to get him in and losing Sigurdsson - so not really worth it in my book unless you can guarantee him getting double that back and Siggy blanking.
