Never played this game before but they have switched to it from the Sun at work so I have given it a shot. As it is my first time I have decided to keep it very simple. I am coming from an 11 player game and I have enough problems picking even that many players, i decided very early - Fck the bench, I am gonna focus on the first 11. Got the cheapest option in every position and i am going to forget about the bench until I decide to use the bench boost during a double game week. Played the triple captain to get that out of the way. Went for Salah because he is not gonna play a team as sht as Norwich at home every week.

So basically my tactics so far have been don't over complicate things, don't worry about the bench, play the triple captain chip early (but sensibly) and then forget about that as well.

I thought my team was decent but when I typed it out for this post I had the nagging feeling it is actually sht so maybe I will be playing the wildcard early as well, I will see how it goes. I am not even sure if 3-5-2 is a good formation for this game but there seems to be a lot of players out of position (compared to The Sun) so there is scope to get 7 decent attacking players in one team.

Yeah, I messed up by not choosing Laporte, Richarlison or Barkley.

Now it's too late but you learn as you live.

Also I opted for "set and forget" goalkeeper and chose Alisson and now when he's injured I'm in a lot of trouble :/

Bottled it in the end on the GW1 BB as it meant no Sterling (or Salah), and that was worrying me. Chucked in a couple of Spurs players late doors, with Moura Martial pencilled in for GW2. Gone with Jota despite fixtures as he seems to be carrying on his end of season form.
