Re: FanTeam - FPL game with 250,000 euros of prizes
Different people use teh bench differently, some will try and choose players that will always play, others will free up budget for teh main 11 and choose a lowest value non player. i.e. look athttps://www.ffstuff.co.uk/FPLTop100-201819.php - badelj 1862 team that was 4th overall started in week 1 (click his team name to see the history) with Speroni in goal, who was not playing, once he then spotted a value keeper and used his wildcard, he chose hamer who was playing at the time.

Re: FanTeam - FPL game with 250,000 euros of prizes
great stuff Frank!
Interesting to see how managers utilise their wild cards etc.
another question if I may....
I understand if you do not use a transfer in a game week it rolls to the next so you get two transfers the following week.
I also understand you cannot have any more than two available transfers in any game week but my question is this...
say for example I did not use my transfer GW1 I would then have two transfers GW2, lets just say I do not use those transfers in GW2 would I then "lose" those transfers and only have 1 x available for GW3 or would I have GW3s' available with GW2s' thus giving me 2 transfers available for GW3?
(Thank you)
P.S so what do you actually win for winning FPL (I'm not sure why but I have a feeling it's more of a pride thing and your playing against millions of players worldwide?

You have 2; and after Wildcards you only have 1.
Yes to no Pries and FPL is more about the Private Mini Leagues....

As blahblah says you'd have 2 transfers in GW3 being the transfer for GW2 plus the transfer for GW3. The transfer for GW1 was lost as you didn't use it by the end of GW2.RickyRosa wrote: ↑03 Aug 2019, 20:27 great stuff Frank!

P.S. 1st prize for the official FPL (played by over 5 million people) is basically a 7 night holiday in the UK incl VIP tickets to 2 EPL matches.

Re: FanTeam - FPL game with 250,000 euros of prizes
well, I'm still interested..don't know why, I mean get through 5m players and win a trip to Wales or something!
Meh.
Please can you elaborate on the "after wildcards you only have 1" please?
As in does this mean that say you had two available transfers but utilised your WC you would only have 1 for the next game week? i.e you lose one of the two transfers?

A transfer only rolls over for 1 GW is the easiest way to think of it...

Re: FanTeam - FPL game with 250,000 euros of prizes
also....the £2625 game looks sick!
How do I use these bonus fan team euros'?
do they release as I a earn rake or do I get them straight off the bat?
i.e if I have deposited 55 euro and I have say 110 euro bonus euros' can I use 55 of them to buy into the game?
thee are currently 10 players Registested meaning that you would be playing in a two man league (if I am right)?
there are a few managers with multiple teams but because of the low numbers I am guessing the deposit bonus is released incrementally or otherwise it would have more players?

i am in!!!
in case this helps any other poor fec ker with the same problem i will tell you what happened and how i solved it - lets face it the 'unhelpful desk' were unlikely too lol
in the end i went in to the bit under your account where you can limit the amount you bet. putting in 10000 euro per week and saving it then allowed me to play games.
i presume no one else has had this issue which i suspect (just guessing) was due to someone their end validating the initial e-mail as i didn't have the account on the pc i was using at the time.
guessing something they did gave rise to some sort of block due to no limits on my betting or it somehow treating my limit as 0 euros?
anyways if you get the same problem check the limits section under your account!

Does anyone have a list of players with a different price to FPL?

Re: FanTeam - FPL game with 250,000 euros of prizes
Looking forward to this game. I’ve had no problems with the site - just have to learn how to get around it. Once you’ve done that it’s like driving a car. Pretty clear with all the rules too. I’m happy. P.s been a lot of entries since I entered on the 21st July. Just over a 1000 - granted some of these multi entries from one account.

Re: FanTeam - FPL game with 250,000 euros of prizes
So have another question if anyone would be so kind as to take a min to answer it?
can you effectively daisy chain with your weekly transfer....
For example could you have a player play on Friday and then sub him out on Saturday or is he "locked" similar to the sun dream team to the following game week after he has played?

I'm probably being incredibly thick but has anyone managed to alter the order of their subs. I thought I had done it, but when I click on the update team button it tells me that no changes have been made.

FPL is locked when the GW is set, so any changes are only in place for the next GW.RickyRosa wrote: ↑04 Aug 2019, 21:57 So have another question if anyone would be so kind as to take a min to answer it?

Thanks blahblah.
Aldershot, I really struggled with the subs until I realised I was trying to use the wrong formations?

I had to change the order by rotating them into my starting XI then back out again into the slots i wanted them in - a bit of a pain, but works fineAldershot Rejects wrote: ↑04 Aug 2019, 22:10 I'm probably being incredibly thick but has anyone managed to alter the order of their subs. same here , its the most complicated way of changing sub order everAldershot Rejects wrote: ↑04 Aug 2019, 22:10 I'm probably being incredibly thick but has anyone managed to alter the order of their subs. can see it causing issues
i had to swap a player from bench to team then update, then swap that player again to bench and update and then double check everything
just be careful as doing anything like that removes your c and vc so you have to pick those again

Re: FanTeam - FPL game with 250,000 euros of prizes
I'm out. The top prizes seem good but to invest €25 and huge time putting up with and working round a poor website it just doesn't seem worth it for a 'bit more than your money back' runners up prize. I tend to play for fun these days, a bit more laid back than the days when I hoped for prizes - and you don't have fun on an annoying site.
(Especially against multi entrants and FPL veterans who will have a big advantage over me for the big prizes).

Surprised to read of so many having problems with this.
My sign up and verification went thorough quickly and with no problems.
The site also seems fine to me. I actually really like it.

I've asked Fanteam to check how people change the order of their subs and if it can be made easier.

Was going to give this a go, but haven't got a current passport and my driving licence is a pre picture one. Also find i can't use a few bookies now for the same reason. Despite having an account with them for over 20 years.

Re: FanTeam - FPL game with 250,000 euros of prizes
subs swapping seems ok, but maybe a bit odd
e.g. on pc hover over who you want to move, click on double arrow, then click on who you want to swap with...
extra bit is to click on the original sub again to make it happen

I can get them to swap but can't get the swap to save, when I click on 'update team' it says 'no changes have been made.'
