Re: Opening Premier League fixtures 2019/2020
Additionally, the following pairs of teams have perfect home-away rotation throughout the season:
ARS - TOT
AVA - BUR
BHN - LEI
BOU - SOT
CHE - WAT
CRY - NOR
EVE - LIV
MCI - MUN
NEW - SHU
WHU - WLV
Any inklings of cheeky early potential cheap GK/defender rotations based on H/A or fixtures?

Decent start for Everton. Siggy or Rich looks a decent option

Re: Opening Premier League fixtures 2019/2020
Liverpool and City both have kind enough schedules that trebling up on each will probably be the norm. City’s schedule all the way up to GW12 is soft.
Of the PL Middle Class on paper it’s only Everton who look of any use.
Will be keen to see what sort of price B’Mouth attacking assets get bumped up to as, for early wildcarders, their opening two fixtures are great.

It starts in less than 2 months.
Does anyone know when we can expect first prices to be released?

Re: Opening Premier League fixtures 2019/2020
I agree dino; Siggy & Eve defender will probably be in my starting line-up. I might go with Vardy as well, I quite like Leicester's first four fixtures from an attacking pt of view.dino1980 wrote: ↑13 Jun 2019, 11:24 Liverpool and City both have kind enough schedules that trebling up on each will probably be the norm. Someone like Gross at Brighton might also be worth a punt if he looks like starting under Potter.

International break one: Between GW 4 & 5
IB 2: Between GW 8 & 9
No one really knows, but I had another little nose around and for the big teams the noticeable fixtures shifts, on first glance, occur between GW 6 & 7 for Chelsea and Spurs and GW 7 & 8 for Arsenal (relevant for their attack at least).
With no major international tournament, outside of the Copa, I wonder if this will be a season where wildcards are held for longer than usual, given opening day line-ups will be less affected by international tournaments and, it looks like only Chelsea of the big six will have changed manager during the off season.

Re: Opening Premier League fixtures 2019/2020
One unlikely thing that may add to that point is that Liverpool (and West Ham) will I believe blank in (at least) GW18 because of the World Club Cup thingy.
That means a DGW fixture for those two in addition to any of the usual domestic-cup-induced DGW games (which apparently look relatively sparse this year). But, given it will be known about right from the get-go, it's not beyond the realms that it could be placed at a relatively early opportunity - I read somewhere or other that GW10 as being such a possibility, albeit an unlikely one, and in that case slightly later than usual wildcards may be advantageous.

Re: Opening Premier League fixtures 2019/2020
GW10 is indeed possible but it would need both Liverpool and West Ham to fail to get to the 4th round of the Carabao Cup. GW22 is another possibility but that would be scuppered if either have a 3rd round replay in the cup. I've not seen it mentioned but having a look this morning it struck me that GW2 might be possible. Given the uncertainty about GW10/22 and the lack of slack anywhere else in the season (assuming Liverpool make progress in Europe), GW2 seems the best option to me. It means Liverpool's start to the season is loaded as they have the Super Cup in GW1 but that might still be the best option.Stemania wrote: ↑14 Jun 2019, 01:08 One unlikely thing that may add to that point is that Liverpool (and West Ham) will I believe blank in (at least) GW18 because of the World Club Cup thingy.

So even the opening FPL dates are statisticised. Seems like 8th of July is the date for this year going by what they've produced.
