TFF chit chat 18th May
SATURDAY 18TH MAY
FA CUP FINAL
Man City 17:00 Watford
And so the TFF season draws to a close with the showpiece match that is the FA Cup Final. First thing to note is that kick off is at 5pm (so no checking for team news at 2 o'clock ). The final features Manchester City, who are coming into the match after winning the League and will be hoping to do a domestic Cup treble. And Watford who have turned to poo since their semi-final win but perhaps they have been saving themselves for the big occasion? No need to rest players for either side and no fresh injury concerns.
Hope everyone has had an enjoyable and successful TFF season and that you've managed to use your transfers wisely. Have a good summer and see you on the other side.

Re: TFF chit chat 18th May
Is it worth bringing Watford players in. If so I’m thinking Holebas and Deulofeu or Deeney. Trying to hold on to a 6 point lead in my mini league so trying to cover all options.

Re: TFF chit chat 18th May
Depends how many City players you've and you think they've got surely? But if you're flush with subs why not?
I'm hanging on to a 20pt sl lead with only three City players and that's it. Think 2nd has Laporte as the difference (whilst I have Bilva) so could still be tight. Fingers crossed...

I’ve got Ederson, Laporte, Walker, Sterling and Aguero. I’ve got 4 trans so thinking both Silva’s and a Watford defender and attacking player. Thinking if Watford do win it will be a scrappy 1-0, so a defender could be the option.

Re: TFF chit chat 18th May
I've got between 4 and 7 City players in most of mine and an occasional singular Watford type lurking somewhere.

Depends what you are trying to do. If you are a bit behind in your superleague (or similar) then gamble on Watford. If you just want a low risk rise go Citeh.cnkp21 wrote:I’ve got Ederson, Laporte, Walker, Sterling and Aguero. I’ve got 4 trans so thinking both Silva’s and a Watford defender and attacking player. I'd agree with all of that and the subs as covers you both ways. But tbh what do I know with my feeble three.

Leave Aguero in and use the transfer on a Silva or Mahrez or swap for Jesus?

Re: TFF chit chat 18th May
1 sub left with ederson, laporte, Bernardo Silva, sterling and aguero. In two minds to go for Kompany or deulofeu. Cant afford Jesus. Leading mini league by 50 odd points so only improving my overall position at stake I think. Decisions decisions...

Was 12 days ago for most of my teams. Should have been last sunday for the other one but I screwed up. At least that means I've got Jesus in 1 team!Canaryfan wrote:Got to love the moment you confirm that final transfer!

If it stays with Jesus, does Walker get a pathetic 2nd KC? (I'd like it if he did)
Edit, Sterling getting it.

Looks like it. Replays suggest that all ball hadn’t crossed the line.

City make their last substitution and Aguero sits rooted firmly on the bench.
