GW 38 Transfers

Last chance to make a change for the season, who have you got your eyes on? Have exact funds for Son  Sterling so might as well do that now. Any chance it's rescinded?

Original plan was one of my keepers to Ederson... Now Son's suspended, I'm considering him to Pogba/Bernardo. But I'm wondering whether to just forget that and play Bednarek home to Hudds (who I was benching) and continue with the original plan... Or to take -4 for the Son out transfer and the keeper move and just bench Bednarek. If I don't change my keeper, I'll be playing either Ryan or Patricio, probably the former...

Son obviously has to go. He's been rubbish since I got him, even without his sending off. 4,2,3,2,-2, crap.

Son to someone playing for something. Watching the Wolves game today reminded me how these end of season games go...youngest ever premier league player, goalkeeper subbed for a guy who’d played no minutes this season (not to mention Southampton’s team). Hopefully the league is still alive next week..

There will be goals. But where?
Watford vs West Ham is where I predict most goals will fly in.

That's a good shout. I'm considering Deeney in for Jiménez. Point to prove after letting his team down with that silly red card?

Will have to transfer Son out.

Then will have to think about the rest of the team. Will Redmond start on the bench again or come back into the side? Keep Eriksen for the last game? Jiménez and Gray to ponder over also. Could really be doing with 2 transfers..

Antonio could be a decent Son replacement.

Wood is another good shout. I can see him bullying that weak-willed Arsenal back line into submission.

That gives you budget to pick any further two mids doesn’t it? Could be worse and, like me, have the budget for Pogba or Pogba or taking a Southampton player off the beach for the afternoon (or Pogba!)

What's wrong with Pogba? Apart from, you know, all the things wrong with Pogba.

Although having said that, I might get Pogba.

Yeah, but... I'm going to end up having to play a Wolves player in that case. :( Hopefully Salah will be OK. It's a horrible idea to think about a hit in GW38 even with 2 FTs. :?

Based on tonight’s showing Liverpool look a little weary
Jiménez likes playing top-6
Ideally he’ll be 12th man for me but I don’t think it’s worth a hit to not play him

I wish I could answer about Jota without asking myself why I brought in Boly instead (error 1) and then left him on the bench for the specific game I brought him in for (erm, schoolboy error!)
Two of Jota’s last three goals have been against ManU and Arsenal so there’s nothing to fear. I probably would take a hit in your case though Joccki, as much to ensure I had 11 playing. With the risk of final day rotation there is otherwise a good chance that you’ll end up with Duffy on the pitch against your City triumvirate as well as all three Wolves against your Liverpool pair

Watching Jota yesterday he was really involved, a nuisance, and seeing how Liverpool only just got past a Newcastle team that hassled them, I’m not too concerned about playing him and Jiminez (especially as I have other fires to put out!)

Jota hit the bar twice yesterday and put three just wide, I certainly wouldn't be selling him. Liverpool v Wolves next week promises to be a great match.

Definitely not.

Wolves are still top of the EL chasers? (I'm assuming Citeh win the FAC Cup)

Son > who knows

Already got triple City and triple Liverpool. Feels like those are the only players worth having right now.

Or maybe get Laporte in and keep Jiminez but bench him.

Who knows!
