GW36 transfers (deadline FRIDAY 26th April 19:00)

Post by snout »

Can't see this thread elsewhere so...

Note the deadline is 7pm on Friday.

Considering -4 for KdB  Sterling & (either Jota  cheapo mid, or Laporte  cheapo def).

Hoping Valery re-appears but I can carry one injured cheapo in my team if needs be.

Probably KDB -> Mane so I have a Mane & Salah double.

Laca -> Llorente, Eriksen -> Salah is one possibility...

Think he was just ill before the game. Hope he disappears for next game so I can get Duffy off the bench and salvage something!

My plan is Duffy to Yoshida to fund Eriksen to Salah -4. I may rethink this slightly if (ofc any injuries midweek) Eriksen doesn't play against Brighton - if that is the case he could easily haul vs West Ham. I'll get in TAA instead for free.

Thanks for the reminder re the Friday deadline :-)
Rolling or hitting is the plan so far.
Aubameyang to Firmino for free or
-8 for Eriksen and Rashford to Mane and Wilson.
Sorry for the scout like post but my FPL link works and I am sure you will judge me accordingly :)

Going to wait til the end of the week. Might hold, or might spend points to get Salah in. Seems a bit wrong to take out Sterling for Burnley for Salah when I have Mané at the moment. And no other logical way to get Salah in.

Is getting Gomez (apparently fit again) on the basis that 2 of him, TAA and VvD will play mad?

Well madder than my normal

I think Gomez is a sound pick, it is just the lack of Salah, Firmino and Mane for GW36 that worry me. Not loosing too much sleep over FPL, though it is a good distraction.

Too much?

It seems a reliable, and cheap, way out of which one gets rested then which, if any, fire....

Currently Duffy to TAA - although worried about possible rotation.

Fairly certain on Jota and Vardy to Salah and Niasse for a hit.
As I've bench boosted I have space for bench fodder and allows me to keep Eriksen and Son for their game as well

Eriksen/Aguero to Salah/Zaha or Eriksen/Wilson to Milivojevic/Firmino for a -4.

Worked out I have the exact funds to do KdB  Siggy and Jiminez  Firminio. Would have to pull the trigger on that -4 today to avoid price drops and risk further injuries before the deadline. Hmmm...

All things being equal, those moves would be an enormous NO from me, especially before the matches tomorrow and press conferences Friday. I'm not sure where you're getting your price changes from, there doesn't seem to be an imminently sinister chance of price changes in those players.

Jimenez has some decent games coming up but I do see the lure of a third Liverpool players if you can't afford Salah. However I'd be more inclined to try and get Sterling somehow. Or/And TAA but that might be a bridge too far.

In a dilemma thinking of Sterling > Salah for GW36 then back to Sterling for GW37.

Rationale is to double up on Liverpool attack with Mane for Huddersfield.

Burnley away won't be easy for City and could be low scoring game.

Liverpool then travel to Newcastle (shown good defensive promise and then home vs Wolves)

For City they will have Leicester at home then Brighton away for City it seems like a good hokey cokey.

What do you think?

Nothing wrong with Pool attack against Huddersfield but they could score the points from the back as well. Salah is too expensive for me so Allison, VVD and Firmino
Burnley are on the beach now and could let in a few if City get going. I expect Wood to get a consolation goal in return though.
Newcastle will be a tough match but they are also now in holiday mode so anything could happen. Rondon to get the goal he deserves and spoil the clean sheet?
Edit for spellin

Want a 3rd Liverpool asset but can't get one in without a hit. Think Eriksen may get rested against West Ham ahead of the Ajax game, will see if he plays tonight.

Eriksen/Aguero to Salah/Zaha
Eriksen/Wilson to Milivojevic/Firmino
Eriksen/Dunk to Milivojevic/Robertson or Van Dijk

Chasing slightly in my mini leagues so feel like need to maximise points potential, what's the better option? Already own Mane and TAA.

Have you thought about Gomez? Apparently he is fit and provides insurance against rotation for not much cash....
