I want to  , but every chance he'll come on and punish me and I'll be all

Two bargain basement captains for me today, combined value of 10.9 mil

Your best captain pick in weeks

Brighton got what they deserved, leaving their top scorer on the bench  He’s old but come on, though I guess if they beat Cardiff it’s all smiles.

I’ll take comfort that my other player today only scored 1 point more.

Good job with Auba, Evvy, you've nearly got me.

I reckon the Deeney red card could have been particularly brutal for some at the top. I thought he looked a good option particularly with Huddersfield up next.

18 tonight so edging yet closer. Not making much inroads into overall position but hoping to make headway tonight.

Unlucky Nbbbee with Duffy, worth a gamble as a differentiator.

Yep you've just about got me, but don't settle for just beating me. I think you probably have five transfers in hand of Nm and haven't got Glen Murray stinking up your team  .

115 to NM is a tall order, as been riding luck and making good use of xfers. Will give it a good shot though as have captains for all bar 1 set of fixtures.

Let's see where we all end up wed night after fa cup game backlogs are played

I reckon you’ve got a few in hand too? So I’ll throw down the gauntlet, with Nbbeee out of sight it’s a scrap for 2nd. I’m 100+ ahead but I have only 2 transfers left and I’m on a sh*te run of using them. Good luck to the pair of you :D

PS Old stinky won’t be stinking my team out for much longer!

Yeah I thought you had about two left. I haven't got enough in hand to catch you :( , in fact its probably more likely I get caught by Bman  Who I think has a good few left.

Pretty good week for me at last, just about managing to keep Evvy and Bman at bay for the moment.

Unfortunately a bit of a dodgy week from Nbbeee. I thought he was guaranteed to beat last years winning placement of 87th, but not so sure now , also iffy week for Nm, shame there's not a few more weeks left.

Good luck all for the final two weeks. 3rd to 6th still up for grabs I reckon.

Cheeky little 14 points for Bman last night.

Unrelated to iso I've just had a gander at the top of the overall leaderboard. Wow 41 points covering the top ten and only 11 covering the top four, sure gonna be a lot of squeaky bums and sweaty palms over the next eight days.

Talking of squeaky bums, I clocked you’re only a couple of big captains behind me now. I’m a sitting duck with Son and no transfers, but thinking (hoping!) you’ve probably left it a little late.

Only 3 captain picks to go and each could be massive, does look a great scrap at the top doesn’t it. When you think Nbbeee is over 200 points back now it’s clear they’ve all played a blinder!

How’s your other team doing by the way? Mines doing a little better than ISO now after coming from way back, but still miles off the pace. Doing much better than last season though :)

You are safe mate barring an absolute miracle, that was my last transfer today :( .

Other team pretty rubbish, mid 400's at the start of the weekend. My worst season in a good while :(

Despite this I have still very much enjoyed the Iso league, providing everyone comes back, next season should be a cracker :D .

Many thanks to everyone who played and/or contributed this season :D . Special thanks to those who managed to stick it out to the bitter end.

Congratulations to Nbbeee who led us all a merry dance, pretty much from pillar to post and who upheld the traditional high placing of the Iso winner. It's an absolute pleasure to hand the keys of castle Iso to such a good player. If I can be of any assistance Nbbeee, just give me a shout.

Congratulations also to Northernmonkey who kicked my backside in the Iso tenner league and who after coming second for the second year in a row must be fancying his chances next year, although with Evvy (you nearly got me :P ) and Biscuitman continuing to improve and S_Sutton sure to improve after an excellent first season next year promises to be harder than ever to win.

To anyone who fancies joining us next year, be assured you will be very welcome :D .

Have a great summer everyone. 8-)

Always the bridesmaid.. Congrats Nbbeee a comfortable win in the end, a Midas touch with the captains for most of the season. Look forward to your selection in a few months time.

Cheers Coleridge for organising, that’ll be 1-1 then on the tenners :D Same again next season, always happy to up the ante

Have a great summer.

Congratulations from me too, Nbbeee. Thought you were going to hit the top 10 on the leaderboard for a while there. I enjoyed the mini-league and discussion on this forum. Unfortunately, leaving the country at key times makes it problematic to compete, now that Sky has seemingly brought the shutters down on access from overseas due, I take it, to gambling regulations. I can already see that I will be abroad on holiday and with work for 3 of the first 4 weeks of the 2019/20 season, so am going to have to have a serious think about how to deal with this. Phone a friend doesn't work well, as I really want to be able to make changes reliably close to the cut-off times sometimes. And that leaves the fancy server arrangements which, until now, I had assumed were the preserve of hardened criminals on the dark web. But it looks like I may be mistaken there and it is a common resource for frustrated Sky Sports fantasy managers. Nevertheless, whether I really want to go down that route and set up my phone, laptop etc purely for Sky is debatable. Am keen to play again, but will need to try to resolve this matter of needing/wanting to leave the country sometimes! Don't want to start having to act like Julian Assange (in any way...!) just to play this game.

Presumably not long now with first match on 9th Aug. Down to Nbbbee, I think, to set the ball rolling?

Still haven't decided whether to enter this season due to the restrictions on access from abroad. Don't really want to go down the VPN route, mainly as I'm not tech-savvy and concerned it might throw out various other settings. But don't see any reasonable option. As it happens, I will be out of the country for the first round of games (and the preceding couple of weeks), so won't be able to set a team up in line with our league's picks anyway. Annoyingly frustrating.

Probably time to start getting our collective backsides into gear, if there is enough interest to go again this year.

Personally I'm up for it and looking forward to not having the responsibility of having to decide whose argument is most compelling.

So I guess we await Nbbeee to start a new thread and get us started.

I haven't started to look at any fixtures yet, so based on very little other than price and record in Germany (and no Rondon :( ) the first name I'd like to throw into the hat is Seb Haller.

A frustrating Christmas for me, captains were OK but no Auba, Sane 2 pointers, LIV solid and CHE/MCY leaking means I’ve slipped back. Hoping for some Anderson magic tonight. An overhaul would be nice.. seems so late this year!
How am I doing?
Can't really be worse than before I've lost access
I have access again.... under a different name ..... so I probably will join again ;-)

probably a silly question

The SkySports Fantasy Fooball thread doesn't show up in the overview 1 Day
I deleted all the subscriptions, bookmarks and preferences, but it seems I'm missing something.
Any advice? thank you!

I’m in.

I see Sutton87 is chomping at the bit as we’re only a couple of weeks away. If we’ve not heard from Nbbeee in the next few days, then in my capacity as serial runner up I’ll at least get the new thread up and running (and mini league?). He can still do the fun bit and decide the starting XI, but at least we can get cracking. Better still Nbbeee let us know you’re out there.

I’ve not had much of a rummage yet, only to clock premium defenders don’t seem as premium as I was expecting. So I’ll be flying the flag for my old chum Laporte.

Be great to up the numbers again from last season, everybody welcome. ISO 2019-20 is on :D
