GW 35 Captain
I'm strongly leaning towards Jimenez triple captain at the moment. Probably Duffy as vice.

Jiminez I think... but I struggle to shake the fact that Huddersfield did the double over Wolves this season... 3 goals conceded and nothing in response.
But Brighton's form seems poor and Arsenal away aren't up to much.

Re: GW 35 Captain
Half tempted to go for Jimenez, but then after this weekend I also wonder if it's time to stop with the silly picks and just go for the big hitters.
The biggest week in City's season in regards to their title challenge, there isn't going to be a more fired up team in the league. Aguero's already scored against United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea this season and with how important he is to the team I'd genuinely be quite surprised for once if Pep was brave enough not to start him in both.

I'm currently on Aguero and I think he is quite likely to start both matches. But it seems like City need to win literally every match in all PL, UCL and Cup from now on, so do we really think Aguero will start every match for the rest of the season?

Re: GW 35 Captain
Well if he keeps pulling him off after 70 minutes he might. Even when City weren't home and hosed vs Palace, he still took Aguero off for Jesus. I will keep an eye on Champions League game, if he gets dragged off again, I might put TC on him.

Re: GW 35 Captain
Some things I'm looking at with Jimenez.
Here are the xG/xGA home/away for City and Wolves and their respective opponents in the double gameweek.
City's attack is simply on another level at home. xG of 3 goals per game. If Wolves' and City's fixtures were roughly the same, or if City didn't have a CL game midweek, I'd go with one of them. However, Jimenez plays 85+ mins almost every game. Sergio and Sterling face reduced minutes at any time. Plus City are going up against two top defenses. Spurs have the third best xGA away from home. United have the fourth best xGA at home.
For Wolves, Arsenal have the 7th best xGA away from home (biased by having only played 15 away games; they'll prob end up ~10th) and Brighton have the 14th best xGA away.
Additionally, Jimenez's goal involvement for Wolves is extremely high. If Wolves get 4 goals over the two games, you can bank on Jimenez getting a piece of two of them. It's harder to say that with Sergio and Sterling.
Jimenez has 166 points already. He could end up at 200. We should treat him like the premium asset that he's become this year. It's a close call for me. What do the points projections tools say?

You're talking me round to Jiminez. The last time I let Fiso talk me round I captained a Brighton defender!

Re: GW 35 Captain
I feel like one or a couple of Son, Eriksen, Aguero or Sterling will obviously get more than Jiminez. However, it's very hard to predict which that one will be given that any of them could be rested. Perhaps only Eriksen is likely to play both games in the double (or Sergio, with two 60-70 min appearances).

Probably Aguero when I bring him in, but I am also very tempted by Aubameyang. Bit of a coin-toss between the two of them.

Tempted to abandon the Bench Boost plan now and Triple Captain Aguero instead.
I’ll see how many minutes he plays tomorrow though.

I suppose a lot depends on minutes tonight. He played 90 minutes on Sunday at Palace, 90 minutes last Tuesday in the CL at Spurs and 90 minutes a few days before that in the FA Cup semi.Highlander12 wrote: ↑17 Apr 2019, 13:57 Not much love for Sterling. He is City's main man at the moment, but if he plays 90 again tonight, I'd be worried about how many minutes he'd get in the double.

I get this but when he's the main man and play Spurs and United - will they even consider dropping him?Bixer wrote: ↑17 Apr 2019, 14:30I suppose a lot depends on minutes tonight.
