Lancashire

Vilas (C), Anderson, Bailey, Bohannon, Davies, Footitt, Guest, Hameed, Jones, Jennings, Maxwell, Onions, Parry

Presumably Guest and Parry will miss out.

That would be my expectation. Can't see Lord's spinning in April (and if it does, there's already the Big Show in town), especially when Lancs have the option to bowl first if it's overcast.

Fairly popular pick Coughlin not in the squad. Luke Wood recalled from his loan at Northants.

That’s a transfer needed for me then. No Jordan Clark for Surrey either. Gloucestershire look a bit light in the bowling front.

Thanks for all the squad news! I also need to remove Coughlin from one team. I saw Finch (Sussex) is also injured but Coughlin news below:

Nottinghamshire have named a 13-man squad to face Somerset, with Luke Wood returning from his loan spell with Northamptonshire and Zak Chappell making his first appearance in a Notts County Championship squad.

Paul Coughlin has a finger injury and Matt Carter is continuing his return from injury, while James Pattinson’s stint with the county begins after this fixture.

Where's the best place to look for injury news is there a table like there is for football (PhysioRoom)?

Worcestershire continue where they left off with their updates - can't find squad news anywhere, though captain Leach is still recovering from last season's injury and Ben Cox will captain them.

Anyone know why (Bowler) CF Parkinson (Leicestershire) not making the squad - 2 games now?

Spinners less of an impact early season. They are going with a pace attack, with Ackermann providing a spin option

Thanks roverinexile - I'm not to good at this game just panicked as deadline approached and made a transfer before deadline to only afterwards realise it was the wrong move for the team in question (for what I'm going for) - i.e. going for wickets and brought in a batsman that don't bowl - instead I should of brought in Akermann now I think about it!

Very bold!

He'll quack now and again, but at 3 rated should be okay to play most/all of the 50 over stuff.

TFC 2019 - County Challenge - team news and chat

Post by Maldini »

I hadn’t tweaked my teams before it kicked off last week and my two captains were Coad and Olivier.

Had Yorkshire bowled first, I’d have stuck with them but swapped to Duckett in one and Holder in the other.

Will keep them for the next few weeks as they both should be good for the one day stuff.

Hello all,

Entered a few teams this year and scored between 1000 and 1400 after the first week so pleased with that as it felt a little rushed at the end (after telling myself i had plenty of time still).
Also have lots of Ducketts! so not so good a start today :)

By the way, I have added another link on the TFC menu on my site that shows all the teams twitter pages on one page, nice for getting squad/team news etc all from one place

Wicketkeepers dropping like flies. Alsop out for Hampshire - that game ended up with 6 keepers! And I see Alex Davies at Lancashire retired injured rather than retired out in their university game. Hopefully nothing serious.

.@Gmaxi_32 & @joshbo97 who both came on to bowl just before lunch are contining with the ball. Alex Davies, who appeared to hurt his right hand stopping the ball before lunch hasn't reappeared after the break, with Brooke Guest keeping wicket & @SDParry86 on the field. #MIDvLAN

Damn. One of my teams dropped 1500 places in one day yesterday! Admittedly only two of them did well but still
