brilliant thanks for that. First transfer done thanks to a lack of research before putting in team at the last minute.

Opening day scores are posted already. Have entered a "tournament" but can't see how to access that league table as yet - maybe will be viewable once the table "fills up" with the requisite number of teams - unless anyone can see any different?

Im in a "full" league, and can see the leaderboard as soon as I click on tournaments, so I guess you'll have to wait until your league is filled, Quizking

Cheers @gomc, yes i've only joined the league today so might take a while - different from previous seasons when one could see how many teams were in the league as it filled, but the limit to number of entries was that much higher.

Jordan ended up bowling 11 overs out of 79 so probably no injury problem.

Yup that was a relief

On another note I transfered out my captain this morning & it deducted a captain change as well as a transfer rather than inheriting the capaincy for free like in previous seasons when I've played which is rather annoying. I've contacted them about it as the rules say that shouldn't be the case.

Wicketkeepers dropping like flies. Alsop out for Hampshire - that game ended up with 6 keepers! And I see Alex Davies at Lancashire retired injured rather than retired out in their university game. Hopefully nothing serious.

It seems surprising t me that not many seem to be going for the weekly - apart from the team in 1st the others have same starting XI points so presumably have made no transfers. So a good score so far, looks to be 1300ish.

I'd say anything around 900-1k is alright for the first week. If you aim to score 1k points every CC week, plus a little extra on top for the one dayers, you'll break 20k+ for the season. Throw in the mix that the two favourites for the divisions haven't bowled a ball yet.

The rest is in the lap of the gods, and getting lucky with your captain and the weather.

He definitely retired out to give Guest a chance to get some runs.
