Care to tell us a bit about yourself? - FF and/or Poker.
We're a friendly lot but would hate to think someone has just joined to try and take our money in the weekly games

Not much to tell really

If I were to use a football analogy you can safely say that I would be fighting relegation each season!

thing is bloggie, on free money games, you aint really learning the game
there are some cheap tournaments @$1/2 where you really aint losing a whole heap - you could spend over a months worth of buy-ins in a night at the pub,
and there you start learning the game

Re: Player Names on PokerStars - Just add yours
I've tried a few of them. Just adding some aggression to the tight play atm without overdoing it.

Re: Player Names on PokerStars - Just add yours
I should be back with you guys soon.......
Been playing on Party Poker quite a lot recently and have come up trumps on a few.
Played 3 tourneys the other day....and got to final table twice....once coming 2nd, although very unlucky not to win. 2 kings last 2 cards beat my aces when all in to win it.
However, cash games I find is where I do well.......had a run the other day which was unbelievable and stopped before it ended
Will be glad to be back.....and glad to be taking you on again.
Is there a game tonight anyone is playing? I know the tourney used to on a Thursday.

Ricky "The Closer" Rosa - stars name is rickyrosa
Used to play loads.... like back in the day where multi tabling like 20 sit and go's
/MTTs was normal nightly behaviour.
Never really done well on stars...always played the I poker sites and back in the day cryptologic sites etc.
Hardly play any more....burnt out at hold em so learnt PLO which is in many respects much more skillfull but also huge swings and variance. Need at least 100 buy ins as a roll and I can't be bothered playing like micro's and am not into putting like 5-10k online to play PLO100 so nowadays play very, very occasionally and usually just try and spin like 50 bucks up into a significant roll.
Prefer FF as feel there is more skill involved (plus it's fun which after close to a million hands I can tell you poker is not)

8 years ago but I have to disagree there. If your learning cash games then play money can help you learn before you dive in playing scared money for real money. Cheapest tournament won't help you learn cash gamesnorvern muppet wrote: ↑20 Jul 2011, 18:25 thing is bloggie, on free money games, you aint really learning the game
