Q1 3h 5h 6h 7h 8h 9h 10h Jh Qd Qc Ac As Ad
2c 3c 4c 5c 6c 7c 8c 9c 10c Jc Kc 2s 3s 4s 5s 6s 7s 8s 9s 10s Ks 2d 3d 4d 5d 6d 7d 8d 9d 10d Jd Kd
I think that makes 32/45=71% that's after Js turn pre turn slightly different as you had to fade 2 cards so 33/46 then 32/45
Q2 I guess the oppo could've had AK then an ace drop on turn or river. But nice they decided to bluff their busted draw on the river.

Muppet how come one game you play 1/2, then next 0.50/1 ?

I'm no math guy but I guessed 30 percent first hand.

Been playing more cash games, I lost 3 buy ins at 5 dollars cash, taking me to 55. But I learned alot and tweeked my game abit and won it back. now back to 70 dollars again.

Also played power up for first time and won. fun game.it a bit slower have to think more ahead when to use power card

From memory the first 9 outs are worth 4%, subsequent ones 3%. 8 hearts and 3 aces = 11 outs is therefore 42%? Both have other options (you = full house even if he hits flush, he could get a straight too to win).

Not sure what hand he would be playing like that, you would appear to be in good shape unless you're in the unlucky situation of two small pocket pairs both hitting the flop. Could be JJ but surely he'd have bet the flop after you checked?

I'd hope he had AJ and thinks he's got a lucky card on the turn, then you're probably getting all his chips, but again he'd have bet first... could have KJ or QJ I suppose, or just representing the jack with a straight out bluff.

stacking off is really something at 1/2
havent done so for some time

no doubt it was going in with this

didnt think it was JJ, no,

decided it was AJ or worse, as you say, and shoved

it was 44....

but you do have to love those top pair, top kickers

Hi buu

I’d bet more on the flop 80% or so. You have the best hand , plenty of worse hands will call

I’d bet this turn card maybe 40% or so to set up a river jam

As played , check call leaves a nice size behind to jam on non jack rivers. Don’t mind check jam either

Hope my maths are right !

Bet more on the flop. I agree, i thought it was a bit low when looked back at it in hand history. I ended up check jam all in on the turn! He still had around 17 dollars behind. A bigger bet on flop would of eaten a bit more and make it harder to for him to fold. Any way he called the river came 2c and villian showed As 9s. Hero win.

Betting on turn around 40 percent? Is that the standard amount on maybe facing a flush draw on turn? I always thought a bit higher

That time I decided to check beacuse of the way the game being playing before this hand

With the villains open raise / call action pre and the call on the flop , I slightly discounted flush draw from his range. Wrongly as it turned out!

My personal view is that at these stakes , they call with absolutely anything and so to exploit this, we should be widening our bet for value range and value betting wherever possible

I was trying to work out how two-pair could be the nuts, then realised he was folding for a 400 river bet to a 200k pot

Of course if he really was stone cold bluffing he may not have wanted to show the cards, but still, why not put the opponent all-in on the flop for a bit of extra small change...

Assuming most of us are 'working from home' or have no job is anyone else thinking of getting back on the tables with all this extra time we have on our hands?

I've had a few games in the last week and I'm probably going to play a few more until the sport is back and the pubs open :D

Had to take a pay cut at work so I'm going to start on micro/small stakes MTTs and have identified the following as a skeleton schedule -

4.30pm $2.20 - $20KGTD Bounty tourney
5.00pm $3.30 - $15K GTD
6.30pm $3.30 - $30K GTD Bounty tourney
7.05pm $4.40 - $15K GTD, deep stack, Bounty

Keeping to 2 tournies before 6.30pm to get tea/kids sorted, then blast off! :D

Plenty of other small stakes tournies to load up if I bust early in any of the above.

I'm out of tonight's 5pm tourney already!

I'm back to playing on Stars again - same sort of buyins as you mentioned there Hotpot - "Big" tournies up to $10 + some sit&goes if time is shorter.

My regular pub game has also moved to Stars Home Games and is going pretty well - 50+ members and 30+ for the main weekly game - won this week which was nice: )

I reckon that we could roll back the years and have a FISO home game reunion in the next couple of weeks - once a few of the lurkers have said hello and expressed an interest.

Only played a few times but I'd be in - timing dependent. Have just sorted out mates home game on stars.... You need desktop rather than mobile app version.

Have run deep in a few big fields recently only to get coolered or run into other big hands...

Qq vs kk preflop to finish 57/1400 in the hot $55 last week the latest tale of what could have been.... Just when I was eyeballing a 4-5 figure score

Been getting back into the poker recently, with some sit-and-gos and micro-stakes cash like in the old days, and doing quite well so far. Karrde’s brief appearance on the forum today reminded me of the old FISO Thursday night private table games, which were fiercely competitive...
