I'm currently on 3-5-2. Switched from 4-5-1 a few weeks back when Mendy got injured and I brought Jiminez in to replace him.

I keep yo-yoing between 1-2k position. Midweek games scuppered me this week.

My boom and bust cycle continues, 111 pts last week, followed up by 25   this week.

850 pts overall and 10k position, 28 transfers remaining. Still lead my super league but my lead is greatly reduced.

No panic required, but have had a frustrating few weeks of benchings and minor knocks, so I've rarely fielded 11 recently. Just got take it on the chin this week, if I can get an 11 out I'm confident they'll do well.

45>903>2520 Small rise but no Sterling/Sane and trying to convince myself Lacazette will get game time over Christmas!

64>966>2271. Gained a few hundred and made a couple of changes which are giving me the fear now as they directly oppose my sl leader and I've immediately lost confidence in them, typical. Trying to resist further tweaks today.

54>957>2970 small upwards movement but feeling exposed with only 21 xfers left and no Man Utd exposure for their upcoming fixtures unless I splurge more xfers!

I'm still yo-yo-ing from great to meh, last 4 weeks scores have been 111, 25, 80 and 57, its enough to give a manager a heart attack. No transfers used during that period though, am 6887th overall with 28 transfers left.

I expect there will be lots of big names rested in the FA Cup games next weekend, so a couple more weeks of stormy waters ahead, but then hoping to unleash the tortoise.

Overall it looks like us singles are doing pretty good, I wish all fellow singletons a points filled 2019 :D

24 left. Current dilemmas include no Utd players or City (bar Ederson). The latter less of a dilemma tbh and will rectify that once they get over their blip.

My SL leader (by 2 points) clearly has a Liverpool partial block. The question is do I trust to Arsenal and City to score against them or look to replace Ederson with Alison? My sensible voice says sit tight as they’ll concede in both those games…

Lots of tinker possibilities but sitting on hands feels the right thing. I’ve missed the Son boat, right? Not worth it for 3 more games?! Pogba won’t outscore Aubameyang really?!

Anderson saves my weekend, sort of. I've slipped to 2nd in my sl and leader has hit a purple patch. Need to hang in there and hold on as hopefully burning subs. My partial City def is being dismantled in the coming week but I'll hope/pray Arsenal score today to stop the pain before I join in!

Agree with muldoon also, us singletons are doing great I think so far. I hope everyone strides up the table with points filled weekends in 2019! :D

So anyone else with City def jumping ship over next week as well?

Also tempted by 4-2 or 3-1 if you ignore the fa cup City/United. Sterling to Pogba for a few games could be a good differential.

After today's failure, that would be a yes! Going up and down like the proverbial whore's drawers! On a down week this week due to City's failure to secure the back door. Will probably now shut Liverpool out just as I offload! But is now the time to swap in Liverpool defenders with Man City next? On Pogba, hopefully you jumped?

Yes indeed. :)

Just thought I’d mention I have hit the (for me) dizzying height of the top 300  - my position is 299 overnight. Definitely nosebleed territory

I’m looking to get rid of Alonso.

Thinking either Trippier or Laporte. But am I best off waiting till next weekend to bring someone else in?

Similar. When is Mendy likely back?

Early Feb. But my patience won’t hold out till then and I’m assuming he’ll be rusty and potentially prone to pissing me off again by getting injured (again).

Not had any Spurs defenders so far, but their run looks good. Gut says Laporte
