Utd punt?

Post by Chicken Ceaser Salah »

With Solskjaer being confirmed anyone thinking of Lukaku, Martial or Rashford? Good idea? Apparently plays attacking football. He must have desires on being permanent manager so needs to a cup or two.

He's contracted at Molde until 2021 and has a 48% win rate across 2 clubs ... United need more than the super sub to help them this year.

A few 'easy' games to start with. Could get a head of steam and get deluded beliefs about being quite good.....

If I knew who to gamble on I might go for it.

Wait and see for me, immediate fixtures are great but its a new start, and we've no idea who will play. See how the dust settles after the next couple of games and see who stands out.

Temporary manager whose not used to managing prima Donna's such as Pogba, Lukaku, Sanchez etc doesn't sound a good match. Think the tails gonna try and wag the dog! I'm not touching any of them.

If you have plenty of subs (25+) and need a sudden surge up your table over the festive period then putting in Lingard and/or Martial would seem like a good idea to me.

Martial definitely on my radar though the fact he’s listed as a midfielder is making it very difficult to shoehorn him in.

Pogba for Sterling for a 4-2 or 3-1 if you ignore the fa cup is tempting me.

Yes. Needs to be 2 hours between games minimum and there is 2 hours 15 so you are all good

Pogba is flashing on the radar for me too but the only change I can make would be for City midfielders. The jury will be watching closely how they play against Southampton today.

Pogba or Martial in for Sterling is all I could consider in my teams and it seems a tinker.

It does. That said, reports I’ve read about Sterling suggest he is off the boil. I’ve bought a 24 hour subscription to Sky Sports (for the Edinburgh Derby) last night that I timed just right so I can see for myself today

Me too. I already got rid of Sterling a couple of weeks ago so the only way to bring Pogba in was to get rid of Salah. I know it's sounds crazy, but I've just got a feeling he can get me 20 pts dduring this 2 for 0 and if he does then he will be staying in my team and I'll get Salah back in my team on the 3rd somehow (set a reminder on my iphone already). If he lets me down, then Salah is back in as a straight swap. Boxing Day was a great day for me points wise, so hoping the luck continues...

I brought in Pogba and Rashford who seems to be the preferred striker in the middle under OGS. Gone from 13th to 7th in my super league in just over three weeks!
