Or even better the points to transfer ratio of last years winner?
My estimate used to be 20 points per transfer when we had 30 transfers per season,
so I think now it's probably somewhere iro 15.

Walcott (Calvert, Lewin, Siggurdson)
Son (Pickford, not sure)

Does Pickford touch negate the Kane pass?

Indeed. Having only decided to put Kane back in my teams this afternoon, I didn’t expect it to be the case that everyone around me had him too. I suppose I should just be grateful not to have fallen another 15 points off the pace.

How many transfers have you all got when getting to the top 100? Hard to tell if my teams are any good at this point AROUND 300-500 place without knowing other teams transfers. Anyone happy to tell?

My best in about 400th has 26 left. Too far back to make a realistic challenge but pretty confident of top 100 finish. No spurs players yesterday didn’t help though.

I think 400th with 26 left is pretty good going. Ive got 10 teams in the top 1000 with between 21 and 24 transfers left. As previously said on here having 20 left at the turn of the year is about right.

I'm not far off that. My best is around 350 place with 29 left. I would be surprised if anyone in the to 100 has more than 25 left so thought I wasn't far away

Your only difficulty is going to be how to use those extra transfers wisely. I had about the same amount this time last year with plans how to use them in the new year and blew it, sneaked into the top 100 but fell away.

I've got 22 left, but am now only looking to chase standout 3-1's. Not interested in the cup early rounds as they rarely bare fruit. And I have enough of the big boys to ensure coverage in the later rounds. After 20 years of tortoising.. I'm happy to be using one a week where extra fixtures can be sought.

I actually got my position wrong, I forgot the leaderboard for season tickets is different than overall so I'm around 200 place. 32 points behind you Edmo but the cup will play a big part as it did with me last year. Nice to get an idea how many transfers others have.

Regarding mysteryshopper's query, I imagine that you are fairly typical regarding transfers remaining. Certainly I'm in exactly the same ballpark on average although individual teams (14 total) range from 18 to 28. As regards the Cup, I also agree with you and disagree with mysteryshopper. These days getting a TFF boost from planning for the Cup would be down to luck more than to foresight. Until the last few years the Cup was an important element of TFF to plan for, but this year I'm not even including the Cup games on my fixture chart as they can be a misleading diversion with even mid table teams with no real relegation threat rotating madly. That's not to say that I won't make the odd opportunistic transfer after the Starting XIs are announced.

P.S. Anyone with over 30 transfers remaining has probably already handicapped themselves to some extent as the number of point grabbing opportunities left which are as good as some past opportunities is unlikely to reach 30-x where x is future essential transfers arising from injuries and other must do reasons.

The cup played a big part in me getting 5th overall last year as with a block defence you really need your team to get to the semis at least. I remember I used my last couple of subs before the semis and went big on spurs coverage thinking they would beat Utd and if they had done I would easily been in the top 3 rather than 5th. I don't have any blocks this time. I want to have 3/4 transfers left for the final 2 weeks as I fell short last time.
