TFF chit chat 24th, 25th and 26th November
SATURDAY 24TH NOVEMBER
Brighton & Hove Albion 15:00 Leicester City
Here we go again... Saturday's alphabetically first fixture sees the Foxes chasing the Seagulls around for 90 minutes at the Am Ex. Brighton are quite stong at home and have kept several cleansheets recently. If Murray scores they tend not to lose. Leicester are hopefully getting back to relative normality now.
Everton 15:00 Cardiff City
The first of the 3 o'clocks sees lowly Cardiff City taking a trip to Merseyside to take on Everton. The Toffees have a fit-and-firing Richarlison so should be favourites here. Cardiff's form has picked up slightly in recent weeks but they are still one of the favourites for relegation.
Fulham 15:00 Southampton
At Craven Cottage, Southampton are the visitors. This could be classed as an early six-pointer as both of these sides are towards the foot of the table. There's not a lot of fantasy football quality in either side so there's not much else to say.
Manchester United 15:00 Crystal Palace
To Old Trafford next, where United might be nursing several injuries after the IB, but how many were internationalitis? Shaw is suspended. Crystal Palace are not great on the road so I'm sure Jose will be expecting a win today. How's Zaha?
Watford 15:00 Liverpool
This week it's Liverpool's turn to ride the Watford roller coaster. Liverpool are still fighting it out at the top end of the table and Salah is starting to rediscover some form. Watford are somehow in the top third.
West Ham United 15:00 Manchester City
The last of the 3 o'clock fixtures has Manchester City travelling to the Big Smoke to face the Hammers. Arnautovic has been rumoured to be looking for a move in January so will be looking to put himself in the shop window. City are the team to beat.
Tottenham Hotspur 17:30 Chelsea
Throw a prawn in the barbie, a London derby! The late match sees two top 4 clubs come head to head. Harry did some door blowing business for England last weekend. Chelsea are still undefeated though it was Hazard (T) who scored a brace for Belgium.
SUNDAY 25TH NOVEMBER
AFC Bournemouth 13:30 Arsenal
Sunday's early game has fifth versus sixth. Wilson scored on his England debut and Fraser help Scotland to the play offs. I'm sure some Arsenal plays did stuff too... Probably they picked up some minor injuries.
Wolverhampton Wanderers 16:00 Huddersfield Town
Two teams with very long names contest the late match. Wolves are the best of the promoted teams whereas Uddersfield are the worst of those promoted the previous season. Another game with little fantasy interest.
MONDAY 26TH NOVEMBER
Burnley 20:00 Newcastle United
And finally, the MNF which this week features two teams near the foot of the table. Sky have really got their money's worth with this one! Rondon was the surprise package in Newcastle's last outing.

I hate crap games on Monday night.... when I am a contender for the cull in Highlander. The lovely choice of buying Burnley or Newcastle dross to avoid the chop.

Interesting fact of the day.
Sergio Aguero has not scored a Premier League away goal in England since netting at Huddersfield in November 2017.

One of those facts that, as soon it is publicised, is disproved. With WHam up next that is highly likely!littlefeller wrote:Interesting fact of the day.

(Has he scored in Wales?)

Still pretty shoddy for a top-price, near-must-have, superstar striker....

I'm struggling with my teams, don't seem bad but going down the table! Need some Ranieri treatment now international break over!
Now I notice Bernardo Silva unlikely to play, anyone know how long Bilva might be out for please?

I’m also struggling and need to get rid of Bernardo. I feel like not having Sterling is killing me but I need to downgrade Shaw to Bennett to get him in and my team will be a bit light in defence. I’m thinking Sane could be a good differential now that Mandy is out which would give me more funds to improve elsewhere. I’m also temped with Arnautovic with West Ham’s good run of fixtures coming up.littlefeller wrote: ↑23 Nov 2018, 22:17"Bernardo cannot play this weekend, it's not too big (an injury) but this game no, maybe next Tuesday," Guardiola said.

I'm going Anderson over arnie. Slightly better value. I've one striker which allowed me to have Sterling.

Hate to swap players from the same team and also not getting an extra game where possible, but very tempted to remove Walker and Mane to bring in Sterling and Laporte (the defensive switch required to raise funds for the other change).

Re: TFF chit chat 24th, 25th and 26th November
Joe Gomez ruled out due to a minor ankle injury sustained in training (LFC site) - not much use in terms of whether to sell, I'd say keep.
Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Shaqiri, Mane, Salah, Firmino.
Subs: Mignolet, Clyne, Fabinho, Milner, Keita, Sturridge, Matip.

It must be a while since Saturday 3pm was, potentially, this interesting in terms of TFF. 3 of the Big 6 playing - that's all the NW teams and their big scorers plus a few other popular mid priced options in the 'lesser' teams.

Hmmm, City 1-0 up and Beeb suggests Silva (Sterling,Walker) so I gain a Sterling KC and lose a Walker one!

Text suggests
MC - Dilva (Sterling?, Walker?) - note TFF Live not showing any OPTA assists on this one
- Sterling (Sane, ?)
BRI - Murray (Knockaert.)
SOT - Armstrong (? 'loose ball' - no 'assist')
Anyone I can flog to get Sterling on borrowed time.....

Didn't buy Sterling, didn't sell Maddison. I could soon be sacked with Big Sam taking over my TFF teams to avoid embarrassment.

Re: TFF chit chat 24th, 25th and 26th November
Anybody seen this one? No OPTA assist because of the deflection (presumably) - was it enough to rule out the KCs?
Kyle Walker plays the ball out to Raheem Sterling on the right. The Englishman's cross is deflected into the path of David Silva - who just pokes the ball past Lukasz Fabianski from close range.
EDIT Sterling 'assists' the 3rd [Sane (Sterling, ?)] - 13 points already if the first one counts.
