TFF chit chat 10th and 11th November
SATURDAY 10TH NOVEMBER
Cardiff 12:30 Brighton
Saturday's early fixture sees the Seagulls travelling to the Welsh capital to take on a club trapped in the Premier League basement. The Welsh Wizards from Wales have shown hints of improvement as the season has progressed and will need to take something from games like this. Brighton rely heavily on Glenn Murray for goals but have tightened up at the back recently.
Huddersfield 15:00 West Ham
The first of the 3 o'clocks ‘as Uddersfield ‘osting the Ammers. The Terriers are another of the bottom three though they won last time out thanks to an own goal! West Ham might be about to go on a good run of form with the likes of Arnautovic and Felipe Anderson looking sharp in recent games.
Leicester 15:00 Burnley
Another emotional day for the Foxes. Burnley are this week's opposition.
Newcastle 15:00 Bournemouth
Ah, Newcastle. They scored and won last weekend don’t you know. This week they are visited by high-scoring and high-flying Bournemouth. Wilson is the League's form striker at the moment and has been rewarded by an England call-up. Will his strike partner Josh King be fit for this one?
Southampton 15:00 Watford
At St Mary's, the Watford rollercoaster rolls into town. Southampton were thoroughly drubbed last weekend by Man City - I doubt similar will happen today though. The stats show that Southampton rank highly in shots but lowly in goals. For Watford there has been a fair amount of tinkering up front this season and Capoue is suspended.
Crystal Palace 17:30 Tottenham
Terrence Trent D'Arby - it's a London derby! Saturday's late match sees Spurs taking a trip to Selhurst Park to take on Palace. Harry has been blowing the doors off again recently and Tottenham’s recent injury crisis is on the wane. Palace are home so might pose a stern test. Some good news for Zaha this week – they’ve finally got his hairstyle right in FIFA 19!
SUNDAY 11TH NOVEMBER
Liverpool 12:00 Fulham
The first of the four Sunday games sees bottom club Fulham travelling to Anfield to take on Liverpool. Klippity's men suffered a surprise defeat in midweek so will be hoping for a win today against a poor Fulham side where even Mitrovic has gone off the boil. Surely a win for the Reds? Perhaps. And don’t call me Schürrle.
Chelsea 14:15 Everton
Sunday’s second game features Chelsea, winners in the Champions League during the week and still unbeaten this season, taking on the Toffees down at the Bridge. Morata has been revitalised in recent weeks and Hazard is back from injury but don’t forget that Everton have an in-form pairing of Siggy and Richarlison.
Arsenal 16:30 Wolves
Wolverhampton Wanderers are up against Arsenal in one of Sunday’s late matched. Wolves battled well last weekend where they fought back valiantly against Spurs. The Gunners are on a good run of late, Lacazette was totally rested in midweek but Welbeck looks to be out injured.
Man City 16:30 Man Utd
And finally, the Manchester derby, possibly the biggest match of the weekend. City are at home and had a couple of high scoring games over the past week. United on the other hand have fought back from a goal down to win in both of their last two games. Has the making of a fine contest but will probably end in a nil-nil draw.

Re: TFF chit chat 10th and 11th November
In a world with VAR, Arsenal's "good run" would be 2 consecutive 2-1 league defeats. Imagine an FF game where they changed the scores to correct ref errors and blatant cheating .....
(at least I wouldn't have to worry how to get Raheem Sterling into my team)

From Everton FC site this afternoon: "Richarlison didn’t do the whole session today, he did some individual work," said Silva. "We will see tomorrow, we still have one session. Let's see how he will react after the individual work this morning."

No Maddison and potentially no Richarlison. Wonderful.

I was just looking at West Ham's fixtures and they're ridiculously good in December, and January isn't too bad either. Probably swaying it for me. Kind of feels like I've missed the boat with Wilson aswell whereas I think Arnie could be about to hit form as West Ham improve.happyhoppy wrote: ↑10 Nov 2018, 08:41I chose the former last week. Just before an international break is not the time to tinker out players missing one game, especially cheapoes.
So... 5-a-side all round then!

It's nice to sit and watch a game of premier league footy without cheering on either team or any player .... just hope it's not as bad as I expect it to be

Re: TFF chit chat 10th and 11th November
Arnie can certainly rack up points at the right time but I read somewhere he has an issue/niggle that he is playing through. Means nothing of course but makes me a little wary. I might stick with Mitro until Bournemouth get through their horrible sequence of fixtures.Midlander wrote: ↑10 Nov 2018, 08:45I was just looking at West Ham's fixtures and they're ridiculously good in December, and January isn't too bad either. Sounds like the keeper and crossbar were involved too - not sure what counts as negating a KC these days....littlefeller wrote: ↑10 Nov 2018, 14:30 Sounds like the Scottish Welshman got a KC for Bambas winning goal. Anyone confirm ?

That's what I heard, sounds almost contradictory though to this layman: ligament damage = proper injury. But then again minor sprains etc are actually ligament injuries.

I agree Murf, I did read that and think couldn't that be quite nasty? Suppose we'll see after the break.
