I have done the move from Jota to Richarlison. Jota has been useless and Richarlison is decent and playing as striker.

0-0 but one (possibly) significant event TFF-wise in the current match is that Pickford saved a Milivojevic penalty.

Good shout but sadly I'm right on the limit already. And not sure I want two Wolves players at the back!

How could they NOT give Gomez that KC?? A very positive, incisive forward pass and neither Shaqiri nor Salah did that much after.

I brought Gomez in last night so I’d be happy to sign a petition

Bias to one side (I think), I don’t see why one counts and the other doesn’t. I’ve always struggled with KC interpretations though.

Surely this is a case where they should explain their reasoning on social media. Otherwise we'll suspect that they don't know what they are doing.

If I was on Twitter/Facebook/whatever I'd certainly be asking the question.

Good work to anybody who contacted TFF re Gomez (and to TFF themselves in this instance, although they do only do it when people shout, ie, for big players).

Probably kept my Liverpool block in the top 5K!

The one thing I'm concerned about is Gomez's game time. Where I have him, my rationale is that he is partnering VVD in a stable CB pairing, but now that Lovren is back it seems Gomez is going to play at RB instead. My worry is that Klopp is bound to rotate the RB spot as he can't keep TAA on the bench indefinitely. Murf/other resident Liverpool fans, what do you think are the prospects for Gomez long term?

I'd be a bit worried. Gomez is good and Klopp likes him but you have to worry about him being shoved around and has to be a chance of rotation. Lovren seems to be in favour (even though I rate him as our 4th best CB) and TAA is obviously a good RB. They can't all play so someone will miss out.

To be honest Robertson and VVD are the only safe bets as they'll only get rare rests.

You wonder what dirt Lovren has on Klopp! I've long had him filed under "crap CB" ever since he was so eviscerated by Kane at Wembley last year that he had to come off after half an hour.

As for Gomez, I hope he does get to stick at one position or the other. He seems to have bags of potential. His development could be spoilt by being forced into the "Phil Jones no man's land" position between CB and RB.

Lots seem to be taking Palace players out due to fixtures whereas I see an enabler as someone to hold and not tinker as long as their medium term prospects are good, which I still think they are.

Having said I'm getting Maddison tonight (long overdue, great VFM should continue) but for Jota whose form is appalling and only hope of good medium term prospects is because I am selling him and the fantasy gods hate me.

It’s one that I’m doing where I don’t already have Maddison.

Probably be hopping on the Auba/Laca 3-1 over Aguero/Kane as well.

High of 47 and low of 20

Don't seem to be moving up the league at all, gone backwards lately. Liverpool goals don't seem as frequent and Mane missing didn't help.

Maybe I should have had Lacazette in by now in more teams.

Fixtures plus Palace Defence has looked pretty terrible thus far, and their attack (another potential source of points) hasn’t looked great either.

PVA should have gone before the internationals because he will pick up no points for the next few games. Short term he looks pants but in December he should do ok. I would like to put 1 of the Leicester defender's in but I just don't trust them. Pereira is very tempting.

I'm thinking PVA goes today, Jota on Monday (for Mendy.

What's the deal with Jota? No sign of him being dropped. Is he playing well?

No. My Wolves mates are all saying he will be dropped next game. No goals or assists. Yellow card magnet.

Well that was quite a 45 minutes of transfer activity across my teams...at the point that I’m brave enough to look my tortoise in the eye (probably tomorrow morning), I’ve got some explaining to do.

Thanks. Guess I should stick to the original plan then, Jota today, PVA next Monday.
