Mendy or Alonso

I need to bring one of these guys in but I can’t decide who is better. I can see Alonso being nailed on every week but I’m unsure if he will keep up the attacking threat. Mendy seems to be a key part of City’s attack but I can Guardiola rotating at some point.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on who is the best option out of these two?

I started the season with Mendy but have since gone 5-3-2 and have both now. If you can only have one I’d say Alonso. Chelsea keep more clean sheets imo and Alonso takes more dead ball situations.

I have done exactly the same. Alonso for me too. He is the star player. Mendy could easily be rotated by Pep.

Main option is to dump TAA and maybe downgade someone else but that seems wrong. Easy Chelsea game tomorrow but same for Liverpool next saturday (on paper etc etc caveat caveat)

Cheers guys. I was edging towards Alonso because I’m concerned about rotation of Mendy with the champs league coming up.

I wish this news could have been included in Peps Friday press conference! I shoe horned Alonso into most teams yesterday ....whilst keeping Mendy....

He has shown a flagrant disregard for the challenges facing Fantasy managers. I’ll be writtting a letter of complaint in the strongest terms.

Exactly - what I want to know is why wasn't Pep questioned in his post match interview on M0TD about his disgraceful neglect of, and even contempt for, fantasy managers?
