I am bemoaning the inconsistency of approach.
Have you ever seen this before? At any level?
May be cancelled apparently. BBC reports that they are currently speaking to The Met and will announce their decision in the next few hours.
Actually the rules changed a few years ago.murf wrote: ↑01 Mar 2018, 08:37+1 to the first bit. Staggers are ok (Aldo was the master) but Son stopped dead. Yellow only a tad harsh.Tacalabala wrote:
I'm pretty sure you have always been allowed to stagger your run up, but Son came to a complete halt, it was unsportsmanlike conduct, I thought the yellow was a touch harsh though.
Definitely unsportsmanlike as the other players didn't know how soon to encroach into the box and looked really silly being almost level with Son! Encroachment while a penalty is taken of course is a law that is almost always broken, but almost always totally ignored by the officials.Tacalabala wrote: ↑01 Mar 2018, 07:25 I'm pretty sure you have always been allowed to stagger your run up, but Son came to a complete halt, it was unsportsmanlike conduct, I thought the yellow was a touch harsh though.
Some were ahead of him. Not sure if the attackers ahead of the ball were offside as the defenders were back there too.
Feeling a Sterling to Sane if he's going to be out for a while.
Taken from yesterday's press conference: Sterling is “much, much better”. A decision will be made closer to kick-off. “I don’t know if he can play tomorrow but hopefully Chelsea or Basel.”
Brilliant touch from Silva
