Might have added it up wrong but think I rallied to force a draw with Spinynorman !
Checked to see what happens next and could only find one previous example - Spiny again - he went out 34-32 in a replay 2 years ago.

Have to wait for confirmation.

- 18 of the 32 ties were separated by 10 or less points.
- 4 PL teams fell out, Murf to L3 bigbaddodovereasy (hopefully got that right this time ) and The Woolster to L1 The Alchemist, the other 2 lost out in all PL clashes with Mark1886 losing out to myself by a solitary point and The Ledge losing out to Digsby.
- The only draw was between Spencer4 and Surprised and they battle off next week in a winner takes all play off!



I will do the 4th round draw next week.

No PL ties although I narrowly missed playing Neath boy! So plenty of opportunities for shocks. probably the tie of the round is Spinynorman from the C taking on PL Neath boy both riding high in their respective leagues.

That must go down as giant killing act as Sp4 is Premiership and I'm almost non-league. I will have a beer to celebrate this momentous day.

1st leg update tomorrow.

2nd leg is this upcoming double game week so it's a monster round,

edit what am I talking about Tues 27th and Wed 28th games fall into the following week so the 2nd leg scores will be taken from this Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th.

The big shock of the 4th round and only PL casualty was Jagged Egg from L2 beating The Saint 91-67. In the tie of the round current runner up in the PL Neath boy beat Spinynorman from the Ch 100-78 also the highest score and the 3rd highest losing score, the 2nd highest losing score was Boltonboy with 81 to me with 87 and the highest losing score was Alchemist from L1 with 82 losing to Egg Zoo Yung from L3. Nearly half the ties were separated by 10 or less points and we have another draw between Primitive Man from the Ch and PG Tips from L2.

The draw between Primitive Man and PG tips will be played December 8th, 9th and 10th.

And so to the 5th Round draw which will be played over the 2 weeks commencing Dec 15th and 22nd.

16 teams left and 6 from the PL, 2(3) from the C, 2 from L1, Jagged Egg carries the L2 flag (plus PG Tips if he wins the replay), 5 also from L3, can they emulate last year's feat of an all L3 final?

We have an all PL tie between Lucky7s and Neath boy and we have 2 PL teams up against L3 opposition so shock opportunity there.
