Parker (Amoebi) Looked to me like an own goal by Scharner, but they seem to have credited it to Parker who may have got a touch although Scharner certainly got the main touch, KC not in doubt either way.

Newcastle 1 up.
One for the dodgy goals panels....

Ameobi's cross headed in by either Scharner (og) or Parker, slo mo doesnt give much away, IMO goal will be given to Parker.

Cheers, I couldn't believe the decision either. Can't say I was too gutted at losing Reina's clean sheet though!

Looked like RVP flicked on Walcott's cross to Gilberto.

Liverpools penalty was a complete scam, the referee was right there and still f'd it up.

Replays should be made the rule like cricket ! S United would have had the win.

Ref said on 5Live that he gave it because the defender 'intended to foul' Gerrard - not that he actually touched him. Apparently it's in the rules ...

Sounds like he watched the replay. Only other thing he can say is the truth. He blew it.

watching on motd it's really hard to tell whether it was VP or the defender who got the touch..

I'd say Walcott if anything, i don't think he got much of a touch anyway.

Andy Johnson shouldn't get that goal - it was going closer to the corner flag than the goal until it got a deflection. A good old fashioned scuff.

I know you know your onions bram but will D Francis really get the goal rather than just a KC for the monsterous goingrightcornerknockedleftcorner deflection?

I'm delerious if he gets the goal as i've picked has my cheapo middo but i'm somewhat doubtful

so i take it MOTD did show Kanu's 2nd goal 'cos I must've missed it, damn my short term memory loss

The goal has been given to him according to all the websites. If the dubious goals committee take it away later he won't lose the points in TFF. He'd only do that if the PA changed their mind before the final whistle.

And yes, they did show both Kanu goals.

Damian Francis will keep the goal IMO as his shot was on target, despite the massive deflection. Andy Johnson should lose his goal when the dubious goals commitee get together although for TFF purposes I'd imagine he would still keep the 5 points unless they make a decision very quickly?

O'Neil might get one for Pompey's 2nd goal for his ball down the line to Davis. I remember Steve Davis of Villa being awarded one for a similar ball last season at home to Everton. It might depend on how many touches Sean Davis took, I think that it was one to control the ball and another to cross it.

Have to agree, O'Neil played a great pass down the right which clearly was a KC for the subsequent cross and goal.

Having looked again this morning I'd agree there is a possibility, although my initial thought was that Davis did too much. We'll see what GFM say tomorrow.

Is Duff a consideration for a KC in respect of Newcastle's second goal?

Can Watford be deemed hard done by team of the day with the refusal to award a blatant penalty for the Stubbs handball followed by a farcical decision when the ball clearly hit Powell on the head for Everton's penalty?
