Improvements for next season
Now this seasons finished I thought people could offer there opinions on what is a good weekly game.
1. A proper deposit and withdrawel system. Would make it alot easier than calling every time!
2. Removing the team cap.. Only a negative effect on the prizepot as team numbers went down
3. Remove having to enter a password after each team change as this seems a bit pointless really!
4. A bigger prizepool would be nice Obviously I understand that the more playing the bigger the prizepool will be!
Looking forward to next season

An expanded player list....... no Silva, no Berbatov, only 1 Spurs defender (Dawson)....... to mention just a few this weekend.

Thanks for your suggestion guys & keep them coming.
We'll put them all into the mix as we build & expand our game for new football season. Indeed some of your suggestions are already being worked on.

Re: Improvements for next season
For the 2011/2012 season we are looking to add further game formats to the TotelFootball offering...
Season Long League
- Each week a manager can enter between 1 and 6 teams into the pool game.
- The point scored by the manager's top team for the week will count towards the season long league.
- The sum of each manager's top 10 weekly scores will count towards the season long points total.
- Prizes will be paid out to the top managers at the end of the season .
2-month Leagues
- Similar format to the above.
- Competitions run over Aug/Sept, Oct/Nov, Dec/Jan, Feb/Mar, Apr/May
- Top 4 weekly scores to count during each competition.
All feedback welcome...

Re: Improvements for next season
I think these both sound like good ideas but have you addressed the fundamental issue of getting more people to play the game??

Re: Improvements for next season
We will have some large partner websites promoting our service to their customers for the coming season. This should deliver more liquidity ..
Obviously we would hope that we'd get more players from amongst the FISO community also

Sounds very interesting. Any ideas on the prizes? Big prizes from the off attract more customers but can be a more risky approach. Hopefully your big partners will offset the risk

Any update on the prize fund for this season? Still waiting to make decisions on what I'm playing this year - any chance of an update?

Is the game starting this weekend? I appreciate you're busy but a lot of fantasy players have a lot to organise this week so some kind of update is now required really.........

Re: Improvements for next season
Apologies to all Fiso fantasy Football fans for lapse in communication. We have continued to run and where possible modify and improve our weekly games in the 4 main domestic Leagues- Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and Bundesliga. The addition this year of the Champions League this season is a new dimension and the way the final stages are devised means that the Semis and finals are Combined with a lifting of the player cap to 3 rather than 2 as there are so few teams to choose from.
We have also got season long games which are great for retained interest and allows players to be dropped from week to week if they are not performing. The Euro 2012 Championship is on the way and without revealing too much- they will give several playing options by Matchday and for the whole tournament.
Again apologies for being absent from the thread but it is hoped that the Champions League will provide some fun and of course the remaining weeks of league action too. The majority of our improvements this season have been geared to providing a quicker, easier and more transparent and understandable experience for picking and betting on a team(s) and then tracking its progress over the Matchdays. Of course some tweaks have proven more popular than others but we hope you continue to enjoy playing and that you are in the mix for a good win. Enjoy the Champions League closing stages.
