2012 Fantasy Snooker - Now Active
Greetings everyone.
The web-site is up and running guys. http://www.freewebs.com/pwhitehead/snooker.htm
Usual rules apply. Either enter by email or pm. Deadline Saturday 21st April 9:00am. I will also need your proper name (as well as your FISO name if you want to be in the m/l) since the competition is open to non FISO-ers.
And a little note to the non-FISO members who've stumbled across this. You are perfectly entitled to have a go. Full instructions are on the website. I'm guessing only about 25% of the entries will be FISO members, so if you want to have a go, I am more than happy to accomodate you.

Re: 2012 Fantasy Snooker World Championship
This is all very nice to know fellow FISO-er's.
I've managed to find last year's spreadsheets, and everything is in place ready for the final qualifying match being over.

I'll join in. Haven't a clue on the rules/scoring, but I'm sure you'll sort that out nearer the time.

Neither have the rest of us - which is why Blah won last yearjuckster wrote:I'll join in. Haven't a clue on the rules/scoring, but I'm sure you'll sort that out nearer the time.
Actually, it's dead easy, well thought out and you will find yourself rooting for unknown Chinaman in order to progess
There will also be a knockout comp as well as a leader board. Plenty to keep everyone occupied.

I remember making an inspired late switch - which I forgot that I had done it may have been Judd in for Robertson, which meant I could afford someone else as well?

Re: 2012 Fantasy Snooker World Championship
Just a little note : Peter Ebdon won the China Open, the last tournament before the World Championship kicks off, by 10-9 against Stephen Maguire having been 5-1 up at one point.
Will this affect the prices against each player? Probably.
Will anyone else have all the data to check? Definitely not.

Come On Jimmy!
A name any snooker fan will remember, Jimmy White, currently 4-2 down
McManus, McLeod and Burnett all playing at the moment too. All names to have graced my telly or fantasy team in recent years.

Re: 2012 Fantasy Snooker World Championship
Perhaps we can start a list of players and real names ?
I need to refer to last years seedings and base the draw on this.

Jimmy White has just lost the 12th frame so its 6-6 in a first to 10 match.
If he wins he will play Jamie Cope for a place in the 1st round at the World Championship
