As mentioned in another thread, I thought it might help answer some questions if I gave an example of a Team of the Week. Here is the one from last weekend, Round 14, 28th-29th Nov (please excuse the dodgy formatting! ):
Player Team Cost Points
Reina Liverpool 6.40 9
Cole Chelsea 6.80 12
Dawson Spurs 5.10 9
Terry Chelsea 7.50 7
Giggs Man Utd 7.30 15
Eagles Burnley 5.10 15
Stanislas West Ham 4.40 12
Kuyt Liverpool 8.70 11
Drogba Chelsea 10.10 12
Fletcher Burnley 5.60 15
Rooney Man Utd 10.20 21
Totals 77.20 138
Any GK with 9 points could have been chosen instead of Reina. This could have been Cech, Hart, Kirkland, Robinson or Sorensen.
Lee Bowyer could have been chosen instead of Dirk Kuyt.
Any defender with 7 points could have been chosen instead of Terry. This could have been Johnson G, Carragher, Carvalho, Agger, Ivanovic, Insua, Chimbonda, Givet, Nelsen, Johnson R, Melchiot, Bramble, Figueroa, Ridgewell, Huth, Collins, Boyce, Carr or Dann.
Remember that the usual rules still have to be followed, such as not having more than 3 from one club. The tricky thing is finding the Fletchers, Eagles and Stanislas each week. These players were picked by high-placed teams but I don't think anyone had all of them. Players like Rooney, Drogba, Giggs and Cole were in many teams though.
I don't pretend that picking the TOTW is easy (far from it!), but hopefully this gives you an idea of what a winning team would look like.

Re: Team of the Week Round 14
I think the promotion should be about £10k, and get within say, 10pts of the perfect team. That way I really could see people perming up teams to have a go at it, and you could do ten of those for every one perfect team..... As it is now, I won't be entering any more teams for it, I'd be much better off sticking teams into Sun Dream Team to go for the £100k table topper, you don't need the perfect team, just a very good one.
