PvA is overpriced for me, and you would get more with 4.5m Keeper and Trippier (plus cash?), imho.
I did some blurb in STC on Ederson being at best 40 points better than a stuck on 4.5m gk

Unbelievable similar to mine, I like it
I agree that PVA is slightly overpriced. Would prefer TAA and 0.5itb until you know if WanB regains place. If he does then you use 0.5 elsewhere... if he doesn't then upgrade Stank / WanB to the best 4.5

Why is there this doubt re W-B regaining his place?
And apparently he is a converted RW'er

Is WB playing this GW4 (v SOU)? or should I play Wilson (v che)?

WB played the league Cup game didn't he? I'm sure I heard the radio commentator saying he was excellent.

There is no reason that I know of why W-B won't start.

The inverse of that question is (like) Ings Vs Chelsea defence?

Re: The Mother of all RMTs (Ironfist's RMT thread)
Thanks all. This was my pick but feel better now with your esteemed valuations. I now hope both Chelsea and CPL make a real effort to keep their CSs.
This also means I'm playing a 451 formation which feels lacking in the punch (striker) area. Feels strange to play only one up front.
My squad would be:
Ederson
Mendy, Alonso, Bellerin, WB
Salah (VC), Walcott, Mikhy, Pedro, Mane
Aguero (C)
-----
Hamer, Wilson, Kamara, Bennett
*Fingers crossed*

Re: The Mother of all RMTs (Ironfist's RMT thread)
Have succumbed last night and brought in Hazard for Salah... feels utterly wrong and will probably result in another Walcott like saga. Hate the man!
On the other hand... this leaves enough cash to get Alli in for GW6... so, a silver lining.
AWB got 0pts and Wilson got 2pts... both failing to deliver.
For AWB there are no better alternatives atm so he is safe.
Wilson has a great run of games ahead of him, but also many options eg Mitrovic, Ings, etc.
Hamer is also a minor worry, but nothing I contemplate doing anything about now.
47pts yesterday plus Bellerin & Mikhy to play today.
Got a Stemania to catch up with... long way.

I'd be tempted to have Pedro in the Starting XI over Lindelof or W-B.

Re: The Mother of all RMTs (Ironfist's RMT thread)
Other people have City and Pool defenders...
You have captained Kane, not Aguero.
If Aguero gets 3 you might get 20 but most FPL managers (Aguero is the most common captain each week) will get 40 and you will fall behind these Aguero captainers.
Surely you only want Aguero to get 3 if Kane gets 4?

Re: The Mother of all RMTs (Ironfist's RMT thread)
My response wishing for an Aguero Hatrick was only in relation to your guess that I'm hoping for a 1-1 draw. If he does... I'll be thrilled even if I don't captain him.
I think Citeh will win 2-1 with Aguero getting only 1 goal.
Kane can get more, thus he is Captained.
What other managers do... is their business.

Wow, that really is big up top.
The waist is the right side of skinny, Lindelof looks a risk though

Re: The Mother of all RMTs (Ironfist's RMT thread)
Pedro, if he plays... will get only a handful of minutes. I plan to get rid of him some time soon. ...and no, not for Richarlison
He is doing a decent job. Far less spactacular than aubergine, but quite central and involved in much of the action. My only worry is the potential revival of Ozil which could effect Laca as Ozil is more adapt in dealing with someone like Aubamiyang and Lacazette might inadvertently suffer.
Lindelof is a risk, indeed. ... amd Bellerin isn't exactly setting new records. I might dowgrade both some time in the future to put a few extra pounds of my team's hips.Smurphy's Paw wrote: ↑03 Oct 2018, 07:16 Wow, that really is big up top.

Re: The Mother of all RMTs (Ironfist's RMT thread)
Finally had the temerity to go against my better judgement and bring in both Doherty & Richarlison, which probably means that both will either blank or get injured come gw9.
This is my current team for GW9, at least squad wise and not formation wise.
I might downgrade one of the strikers at some point and bring in Salah when he remembers how to score again.

Re: The Mother of all RMTs (Ironfist's RMT thread)
Got both Murray & Arnautovic... both are now flagged. Can't decide on who to get rid of.
Also got rid of Salah and am reluctant to lose Hazard too, to get the funds for upgrading one of these two strikers.
Suggestions please...

Re: The Mother of all RMTs (Ironfist's RMT thread)
I would probably go Wilson. I dont want him myself because I have Fraser, and dont want to expose myself too much given their fixtures.
Auba is another option, meaning downgrading in the midfield. I'm not too keen on that myself.
Im considering Jimenez, although their fixtures arent great eighter. I probably will do it, if I can figure out where to spend the spare million.
