Was it a Clapham Omnibus? Or a Jose Parked Bus 🚌?

Essentially put the team as close to what it will be like for the next deadline, C on the strongest option and then all I have to do is consider transfers. Then, if you get knocked down by a bus in the week you’ll still have a half decent team if you’re incapacitated. Obviously doesn’t help for the big transfers but can soften the blow if you miss a deadline.
The simplest advice is often the best advice 8-)

Season over.

Grealish confirmed out of the Sheffield United match! https://twitter.com/mjmarr_star/status/ ... 77088?s=20

So looks like you'll be getting Kane off the bench! (assuming you have him first bench :) )

hi guys need some advice in preparation for GW29

used my FH so currently have

Emi
Dias Stones Allioski Mee Dier
Son Bruno Salah Gun Raphina
Kane DCL Bambford

my intial plan was to have 9 players in GW29 but seems Allioski and Dier has lots there places so wondering if it make sense to field the nine players and take hit to field them the nine players or just field 7 buy replacing Allioksi and Dier

if just replace them GW 29 Team would be
Emi
Dallas Dunk
Son Raphina
Bambford Kane

If i take his GW 29 team would be

Emi
Dallas Dunk Veltman/Burn
Son Raphina
Watkins/Antonio Bambford Kane

so technically it only a minus 4 i will be taking and not a minus 8, another option if am taking the minust 8 i could replace either Bruno or Salah for someone like Bale instead of Watkins/Antonio for DCL

any thoughts or suggestions

There's an error with your current team as you have 6 midfielders and 4 players from City.

7 is too few to be holding imo. I'd be looking to cover the WH defence.

Personally I'm considering using the blank to rejig my City assets. I'm on 2 defenders and 1 attacker, but Stones is missing more games now, so I think it could be time to move him on in GW29, and bring in another City attacker in GW30.

ok i feel you with 7 being to low but taking the hit for WH defence or Brigton might not might not be worth it especially since they might not keep a CS that week and in the future no sure if i want any of there defence for the long term

am actually sticking with my current City players no other city attacker has shown thus far beside Gun dey are capable of getting big hauls

Quiet in here these days. What are everyone’s plans for GW29 and beyond?

I had initially planned to just be a bit short in 29 then wildcard when the FA Cup and rearranged fixtures were a bit clearer. Now Son is injured and potentially not going to play, I’m left with:
Martinez
Coufal
Bale Soucek Son
Kane Maja Watkins
With my FT already used to bring in Bale

I’m tempted to wildcard now both to get 11 out but also to get the squad structure back to something resembling normality (Forster and Strujik for example will help with that).

Any thoughts on this approach?

I considered it but discounted it because I ended up having to plan in a number of transfers

yea i was thinking or WC but couldn't bare myself to lose Bruno Salah etc so would have been going into BGW29 with 8 players, only plus side is that i could have BB in 30 but it was all feeling a bit forced so goin in with 5 players so pray for me

Jesus my season is just falling apart. Can't wait for it to end!

Bale and Son transferred in last week. Cresswell this week. I should really just ban myself from making transfers!

Teams to target for run-in: Pool, Leicester, Chelsea, West Ham, West Brom. Any other team/player? Maybe one from Arsenal, Wolves, Leeds and/or Brighton?

Nice one. Top 1k would be a spectacular achievement given how many play the game these days.

You’ve used all your Chips, haven’t you?
What I would say is that if you retain a Top-1k ranking that’ll involve a fair amount of skill and good judgement (and a slice of good fortune!). There will be a number around you who still have chips to play so maintaining ranking will be a real success.

That's a good point. It all depends on how the blank + double plays out I guess. Those with chips left will be banking on those 2 weeks in 35/36 to make up the most ground.. will be a tough fight to retain a top 1k rank..

I was ranked 2.5 mil in late November so delighted to be at 29k atm, no Leicester though so I'll surely drop a bit tonight. Taking a hit to get 11 for GW 33 too but hoping to attack the last double with the FH.

Chips used in the Top 10k according to Live FPL:
Chips used Top 10k.JPG
The ones with Free Hit remaining, like Ruud, could be in for a big jump depending on how the DGW may fall.

Nearly 17% however still with the BB to play - could be a tricky one with a lot of rotation as we saw just this round. So I would think SG-8's chance is not that bad to get the 1k rank
