Re: CymbalRush84 - RMT - 2019/20
I think your bench is too weak, I’m not sure any of Reid, Gibson, Greenwood or Zinchenko are going to be starters so you could end up feilding 10, or even just 8 or 9 if Sterling or Walker-Peters are rested/rotated which they will be at some point. I would look to downgrade one of your big guns by a mill or two and spread it around your cheapies, or if you are going to have a couple of 5.5m defenders at least try and go for ones who are nailed on.

One of my best ones so far, I feel.
Got a good feeling about Trossard after his exploits a few days ago. If not, he's a placeholder for a Chelsea no.10.
I don't think many are exploiting Villa's pleasant opening fixtures, so I've opted for Wesley, given his attributes and Villa's strength at set-pieces.
Dunk (Leicester or not) will be good value.

If you got Lloris, do you need another 4.5 gk ?

Re: CymbalRush84 - RMT - 2019/20
I find the 4.5 keeper quite handy for Spurs' tougher fixtures, particularly in GW2 and GW4, and that's when the 4.5 keeper comes in. Can only achieve this for so long, so will replace Heaton when the time is right.Stena Bib wrote:If you got Lloris, do you need another 4.5 gk ?
Not exactly everyone's way of thinking, but if I'm gonna spend 10m on keepers, this can be more practical and more efficient than Allison/4.0.

Just into the final touches of the team now.
I'm torn between;
2x 4.5 defenders and KDB and 0.5m spare
OR
VVD, 4.5 defender and Bilva.

Or there is this. I like this one because;
1) I still got some degree of balance.
2) I have Salah, Kane and Sterling.
3) I got placeholders for Perez and Trossard if they don't work out and someone from Chelsea starts firing on all cylinders.

This is an interesting team. Full of punts and risks, but somehow feels ok.cymbalrush84 wrote: ↑08 Aug 2019, 19:44 Torn on what to do for 12.5 for a midfielder and attacker

I've seen many a player have great pre-season and not deliver cometh the time it matters. Think Chelsea will start the season more rigid at the back and the attack comes after.blahblah wrote:Barkley, shirley?

High time to use wildcard I think. Don't want to risk falling even more behind (51 points).
So I think these wildcard changes will get me back on the saddle.
When Allison returns;
Adrian and KDB/Son -> Allison and Martial
In two minds over a few;
KDB or Son
and
Jota and King or Abraham and Ings.
Favourable fixtures lure me towards the latter.

Seriously considering the enforcement of the free hit, with emphasis on clean sheets and performances from Chelsea, Liverpool and Leicester. Tall order, but I believe it can pay off.
I hope the starting XI is apparent, with feasible cheap contingency plans.
Thoughts? Constructive alternatives welcome.

Re: CymbalRush84 - RMT - 2019/20
WC time I think.
Looking really good and I don't think that I could change that.
Just struggling on a defender and midfielder to pick for 10m.
I'd pick JWP but that leaves me with 4.2 and not sure if there's good options for that. Other midfield options are Fleck, Cantwell, Jorginho.
Utterly stumped.
Suggestions please?
EDIT: Keeping tabs on Danny Rose to Newcastle. If it materialises, I'll be opting him instead of Lascelles, leaving me with 8.9.

Pick Hayden over Dendoncker and you have another 0.1 spare.
Also be wary of Lundstram, who might have lost his starting spot.

As per my fantasy league's rules, I can't take Donck out.From4corners wrote:Pick Hayden over Dendoncker and you have another 0.1 spare.

Plus, what will become of Hayden with Rose's potential arrival? Ritchie RWB? Can he shift the Longstaffs off in CM? Could do with a Newcastle fan's viewpoint.

Fellow Wolves supporter here. I've currently got Donck, Jimenez and Traore as my Wolves three but now he's lost his place to Boly I am taking Donck out and bringing Saiss in who at 4.4 is great value. I know he's a card magnet but I think Saiss will benefit from Boly being back (as will the whole team in general).
Why can't you take Donck out? It would be great if you linked your team with an FPL button.

Toggling with changes now that we're back. Unless a differential punt delivers, I can't really see any rank swings in the leagues as all the bandwagons are jumped on.

What chips do you have left? Are we looking at 11 long term? 15 for one week? Or two? Or...
Looks like a balanced medium term team and a decent one at that (tho’ Williams can be frustrating to own)

Okay, so you need the team to last the course. Right, with those I would not bench boost this week. TCing De Bruyne is an option though.
Keepers: No need to have Pope as well unless you BB, in which case Reina would play twice, save some cash then warm the bench
Defence: Lundstram was in the process of losing his place in March. For certainty of starts, go for another Blade; Burnley have been mentioned by others as a team to avoid. Not done enough analysis for myself but bear it in mind.
Midfield: Dendoncker plays, but I’m going for Luiz for the double for the same price
Cantwell - if you think Norwich will do anything. Exciting player, poor team. With unlimited transfers I’ll be looking elsewhere tho I don’t yet know who.
Forwards: They all look good and yet I may not have any of them. How tight is your budget? Can you stretch to an Aubameyang or Kün?
Hope it helps

Reason for Pope is that between GW31-35, Sheffield U have a tricky run, but I will explore alternative options to Burnley defenders.
Got no spare change now. But will continue to look at options, Arsenal have shored up since Arteta arrived...
I hope to have change left to replace Cantwell whilst I’m there.

Re: CymbalRush84 - RMT - 2019/20
Bench boost and DGW in mind.
Why 2x 5m keepers? Arsenal have a few favourable games where they could even get clean sheets, something theyve largely improved on under Arteta, whereas some Sheff U games are making me uncomfortable for CS, yet I find some of the games good for it.
Otamendi is for this DGW only, then im switching to Boly afterwards. Newcastle defenders are a generous price for the CS they're capable of producing, might switch to Clark instead of Lascelles for extra goal threat. Budget restraints made me downsize TAA to Robertson, but I won't expect much in way of scoring in these 9 GWs.
As per my super league's rules, I must keep Donck. Of all of Citeh's front 6, I'm finding KDB and Mahrez least susceptible to tinkering and the most effective. Like Robertson, budget dictates, so Salah is downgraded to Mane. Saka is low risk and potentially high reward.
Arsenal's very favourable fixtures makes it hard to turn on Auba, same with Wolves/Jimenez. Pukki? Very favourable home games where Norwich have only failed to score twice this season and play four times in the next six games.
