Re: RMT: CymbalRush84 And The Holy Fail
Happy with this now, thought of Batshuayi, but Fulham and Newcastle fixtures look kinder for me.
1.5 itb to switch Son to Bruno for GW2.

Compelled to use my WC, need to play catch-up in my leagues and this will put me in decent stead.

What to do with midfielder 5? Not all too sure, got it determined in my mind that Liverpool will hardly scratch the goal quota in this DGW.

Re: RMT: CymbalRush84 And The Holy Fail
For DGW26, I’m looking to take a -4 hit to fulfil as many double games.
Not entirely confident on Kane at the moment, especially against stubborn opposition so I’ll look to Vardy for Ian Nacho and for more Leicester coverage, do I go either Mee for Evans or James for Barnes/Maddison? 4.3m itb.

First draft. I have intentions to use the Bench Boost in GW1 but would like a squad that can get points beyond then.

Re: RMT: CymbalRush84 And The Holy Fail
Another draft. Feeling better about this one but opinions welcome.
Sanchez - Good opening fixtures, might go for set and forget.
Begovic - Pickford was terrific in the Euros, but he’s always susceptible to gaffes and it doesn’t take much to get under Rafa’s skin. If he’s dropped…
TAA - No explanation needed.
Shaw - Keeping the form going.
Daniel Lamptey - A short-termer at 4.0 but if Leicester play three at the back, more chance for minutes.
Ben Johnson - 4.0 Long-termer. West Ham needing a bigger squad to juggle Europa and he’s had a few games in advanced roles.
Targett - Great starting fixtures for Villa and clean sheets are to be expected.
Mahrez - Unlike almost everyone who can play in the front three, he’s had no international competition this summer and is a steady yet unspectacular scorer. So for the first few weeks, he’s in for me whilst the others get up to speed, then I’ll see where the land lies.
Brownhill - 4.5, plays every week virtually, seldom carded and has played a few times in more advanced roles a la Jeff Hendrick.
Salah - No brainer.
Fernandes - No brainer.
Buendia - Stats last season epitomises the player. Will be hovering over every set-piece going.
Toney - Worthy punt given his track record everywhere he goes. Double figures to be expected.
Benteke - Could be on his way back to the player he was at Villa and regardless of opposition, he has a habit of getting on the scoresheet.
8m itb for a forward and I’m clued up on who to take on.
Opinions welcome
Thanks

Don’t want to over-indulge on Villa and Buendia is my go-to for Villa returns.
Seriously considering Nacho.

Re: RMT: CymbalRush84 And The Holy Fail
In the event that Buendia is out for the opening game, I’ve put Ings in and only then, I realised that I need Everton coverage. Granted with their presumably defensive style of play, it has to be low risk, potentially high reward, so I’ve gone for Townsend.

Lukaku, Rudiger and James/Chilwell. Don't think the mids will be worth it.

I did contemplate Christensen as Tuchel seems to be a fan of him…SirMattBugsby wrote:Lukaku, Rudiger and James/Chilwell. Don't think the mids will be worth it.

Re: RMT: CymbalRush84 And The Holy Fail
Yeah, he works well in a back 3 and could potentially become 1st-choice over T. Silva. Rotation could be key with Chelsea defenders: some first choice ones could be playing the more difficult games..cymbalrush84 wrote:I did contemplate Christensen as Tuchel seems to be a fan of him…SirMattBugsby wrote:Lukaku, Rudiger and James/Chilwell.
