I’ll let blah talk to you about keeper rotation. It’s his ‘thing’.
Although a playing back up for when the Blades play Man U will be necessary. That’s one reason I have gone for Leno in goal & a third outfield Blade (saves me having to WC next week)
Robertson is currently flagged on some sites so keep an eye out for news about him. Likewise Salah actually. Of the two positions/four options I’d prioritise TAA. There must be better places to make modest savings than the most effective player in FPL (IMO)

Not sure it's worth opening a thread just for this question..
I'd say yes, just so you know.

Re: CymbalRush84 - RMT - 2019/20
KEEPERS
McCarthy - Very popular 4.5 choice and managed double figures despite losing his place to Gunn Jr early doors.
Rodak - Best part of the first 10 games look kind enough for Fulham. Some will be discouraged by Fulham by the last season they were here, but with Michael Hector and manager more willingly to be conservative, I’m confident of more clean sheets this time around.
DEFENDERS
TAA - With what he brings to the party, he’s almost a sixth midfielder.
Vinagre - Subject to us not getting a LWB, he’s a no-brainier. More attacking than Jonny and is improving with every chance he gets.
Brandon Williams - Worst case scenario, a short-term option when Luke Shaw returns whilst I figure out the best 4.5 options.
Aurier - Pleasant three opening games played a big part in this pick.
Branthwaite - No investment in the CB area is starting to indicate that he will play reasonable chunk of games this season.
“MIDFIELDERS”
Salah - Why not Salah?
Auba - A filler for when I plan to change to KDB/Sterling come GW3.
JWP - Expecting Southampton to be a top half finish this season. When you got Stuart Armstrong at 5.5 and Redmond at 6.5 and JWP at 6.0, who gets almost all the dibs on dead balls. How can you resist?
Son - Like Auba, just a filler for the two Manc clubs start playing - in this case, Bruno.
Podence - This Wolves fan is more excited about this one, even more than Traore. Probably most unpredictable wide forward of the bunch. Highly rating him to do great things.
FORWARDS
Jimenez - Tried, trusted, bargain at 8.5m, no European duties to handle.
Mitrovic - Carried Fulham to a fighting chance last time around, and they stand a better chance this time.
Brewster - Lot of folk going for the Villa forwards as their basement forward, but word on the street is that a few PL clubs are sniffing around Brewster, who will be a popular basement pick if anything materialises.

Re: CymbalRush84 - RMT - 2019/20
A little too much risk there for me, Aurier linked with a move away, Vinagre likely to be replaced by a new signing, Williams is not 1st choice and as far as I'm aware Shaw is fit, Podence and Branthwaite not nailed, Brewster needs a move to be worth a pick.Obviously a huge amount more info to be gained before GW1 which could firm up these choices or force you away from them.

I’m not depending on Branthwaite to be nailed, think he will play a part in a decent capacity.
Aurier - Has been playing, until Spurs get a replacement, he stays for me.
Williams - I sensed otherwise with Shaw, will review that.
Vinagre - We’ve been linked with AMN, I’ll keep a close eye on that.
In time, Podence will deliver. Think he’ll be nailed eventually.
Brewster - move permitting, otherwise, Keenan Davis.
But yes, certain permutations permitting...

Cymbal, am I mistaken to think Wolves could have a slow start? It was a long season, which ended a bit flat.

That’s your opinion, Sir Matt. It is possible, but I’m hopeful we can hit the ground running with the wind from a successful campaign still in our sails.SirMattBugsby wrote:Cymbal, am I mistaken to think Wolves could have a slow start? It was a long season, which ended a bit flat.

Well I'm hoping you start well too! Not just because I absolutely love Ruben Neves but also for FPL and the league in general. The league is better with Wolves in form.

Re: RMT: CymbalRush84 And The Holy Fail
There are a few punts in there (William's, Brewster, Branthwaite) and I don't fancy the triple Wolves early on (Shu and City games in particular although gw3 onwards looks like gold). A lot will depend on transfer activity but there are no glaring problems. I just don't think your squad is deep enough to handle the weeks where the punts don't play.

Re: RMT: CymbalRush84 And The Holy Fail
Valid point on Aurier, so Dier, tipped to play a large part in the team and the fact that he can play CDM along with some pleasant fixtures.
Midfield has some adjustments, with a plan to introduce Bruno and KDB/Sterling by GW3.
Bergwijn for Spurs (Son out of reach, Alli questionable to start), to make the most of a good start.
Mount for Bruno in GW2 and Auba for KDB/Sterling in GW3.
Not entirely decided on the 4.5 midfielder.

Re: RMT: CymbalRush84 And The Holy Fail
From previously...
KEEPERS
Content with them for my first 12 GWs, providing Fulham don’t sign one.
DEFENDERS
Growing confidence in Southampton, so why not double up the CS coverage? Pieters ended the season well, and has a better assist rate than Charlie Taylor, even though he played more advanced. Branthwaite will play some sort of role in the opening games, now with Holgate on crutches and Mina striving for match fitness.
MIDFIELD
Picks itself, but should Ziyech not be fit, then I’ll save 0.5m and have Yames. Got a lot of confidence in Podence, think he’ll be a great differential.
FORWARDS
Brewster is there in the hope that he moves somewhere. But if not, then I’ll find me a cheap playing forward, I’m not one for having ornaments in my squad. Keeping my eyes on the forwards in the 6.5 price bracket, but I’m happy with these two for now, unless Batman moves away from Chelsea.

Pieters will only start before Taylor if Taylor is injured - which he isn't and played the recent pre season friendlies. The only reason Pieters played from restart was either Taylor injury or in midfield because Burnley were struggling to put out a full team because of out of contract issues and injuries.

Will JBG or Brady start or are you looking to get somebody in?
Jamal Lewis has cropped up at 4.5m, so I have a good alternative.

Re: RMT: CymbalRush84 And The Holy Fail
We had Hendrick and Lennon missing and Brady and JBG injured so were down to the bare bones. Pieters was bought as cover for Charlie Taylor and he could also possibly cover for our centre backs. JBG and Brady are both back playing now and would not be surprised if we brought in another wide man. McNeil is a guaranteed starter if fit so Pieters way down pecking order for a midfield spot...and as said if fit Charlie Taylor will always play as he is much younger and more athletic. Taylor is not a big fantasy points magnet because he has few direct assists - he is brilliant at 60 or 70 yard lung bursting runs which often lead to corners which we do score from but he does not get an assist for that !!cymbalrush84 wrote: ↑09 Sep 2020, 15:54Was he filling the void left by Hendrick?superclarets wrote:Pieters will only start before Taylor if Taylor is injured - which he isn't and played the recent pre season friendlies. If JBG is fit it will be him and McNeil starting out wide. Brady will be on the bench but JBG and Brady have had an awful couple of years in terms of injuries hence why we need to bring in a wide man. If we don't then Pieters might get some games if both of these are injured but if Pieters has to play regularly we will be bang in trouble !
Jamal Lewis looks a good player - I like the look of Newcastle this season....got 3 of them in my team at the moment which feels a bit risky but they had a decent season last year and seem to have spent well in improving the team.
