HuskerDu's 2019/2020 RMT: Any tips/suggestions greatly appreciated!
This is my team for now:
I also played with Fraser/Maddison as oppose to Brooks/Siggy
I was thinking Zichenko instead of Laporte but am a bit nervous as Zichenko's playing time even though Mendy fell out of favor towards the end of last season.
Any thoughts would be appreciated, I have 0 ITB with the tam above.

Looks familiar....
Personally I would have Mendy over Digne and bring in Zinchenko if Mendy isn't mended.
Rich is more of a streak scorer who specialises in fast starts as opposed to the consistent Ziggy so wins for me.
If you are looking at last season's point Delofeu was a Mid last time and loses c20 points.

Thanks for the response! I am a bit worried Mendy may have fallen out of favor with Pep although he was immense before his injury last season.blahblah wrote: ↑10 Jul 2019, 17:49 Looks familiar....

Richarlison over Siggy is a good call, I'm very tempted.
I had to go with delofeu as I need budget strikers since havng Salah/Sterling/Robbo/TAA makes it very hard to also have a premium striker
Wanted to fit in Vardy but it was too tricky. Maybe I'll force him in for GW 3 onward.

Zinchenko is cheaper than Mendy do an easier move than the other way...

That's the most template of template teams but I'm sure you are aware of that.
Only thing I would suggest is that if you are going to have two super premium attackers you have one as a MID and the other as a FWD instead of two MIDs so you get greater flexibility of captaincy options
i.e. instead of having Salah and Sterling, go for Salah and Augero, that way you can easily switch between Augero/Kane/Aduba depending on who happens to be at home to the weakest defence that week.

Thanks for the tip, I just feel Sterling may have a higher scoring potential than Aguero, but I like your logic.boise1234 wrote: ↑12 Jul 2019, 21:34 That's the most template of template teams but I'm sure you are aware of that.

I know it's fairly template but to start of the season I like to go for stability first and then as the season progresses I'll have enough data to find the differentials.

Thoughts on either:
Vardy/Delo/Greenwood
Salah/Sterling/Perez/Brooks/Dendoncker
Robertson/TAA/Zichenko/Digne/Kelly
or
Wilson/Delo/Greenwood
Salah/Sterling/KDB/Perez/Dendoncker
Robertson/TAA/Zichenko/Kelly/Rico
I know the second option has me very light for bench options in the back but it would afford me KDB over Brooks but the downside is one of Kelly/Dendoncker/Greenwood would be in my starting XI at all times until the wildcard.

Brooks is now injured so you can chalk that one off
You can't rely on Greenwood to get too many minutes (he is likely to get them outside of FPL games), I have him but don't plan on him being in my team.
I'm assuming CRY Kelly? Is he a def starter? (not taken much notice of Palace)

Toss in Zin missing the odd match and you could be down to 10...
Try and get 15 "starters" so you should definitely have 11 playing.
