I found it curious that Egersdorff was omitted from the list entirely. I'm guessing it's heavily weighted towards this season, where he's been doing relatively poorly (so far). No spiderm4tt either, despite being a former champion with several impressive finishes under his belt.

Re: Let's catch up with Ville
I think taking out Kane and Hazard has cost Ville quite a number of points. Both could have been avoided if he had transferred out Ederson to a cheaper GK.
Only player he is really missing is Rashford, I would probably take out Ederson (who probably has a blank gw27) to fund it, but seems to be resistant to remove a goal keeper.

Re: Let's catch up with Ville
He’s been making some questionable moves in my opinion. Maybe he has a plan, Kane to Auba I understand, but Robertson to Zanka in order to get Pogba in?
That said, he’s still 70 points ahead of me, so I should probably pipe down
I think he’ll miss out on Rashford also.

Re: Let's catch up with Ville
Ville has used 3 transfers and taken his first hit of the season in the process. Quite unexpected as he didn't have Kane. His defence looks poor so no doubt 1 or 2 of those transfers will involve defenders.

Re: Let's catch up with Ville
I'm surprised he's made three with the situation his squad is in. Two would sort any issues. Maybe he's done Auba to Rashford, Kamara to Niasse and Balbuena to Robertson. Roughly works out on price but those moves are not 'Ville'. The other option, perhaps more likely involves Auba to Rashford and Richarlison to Alli (or perhaps Mane) (knowing Rich has a blank GW27), then Balbuena to Shaw/Digne/type price.

Re: Let's catch up with Ville
Having said that, I'd want Robertson if I was Ville. Having 3 Liverpool moving through the GW27/31 blanks, up until the second wildcard has to be some kind of priority.

Ville tends to add/remove players that have or already risen or fallen.
I'm guessing Rashford has been added and Alonso has been removed from team. No idea what other transfers would involve.

I highly doubt Ville would do a hit to remove both Aubameyang and Jimenez.

Re: Let's catch up with Ville
I think Ville has shown to remove big players like Kane (removed Hazard) and Hazard (removed Kane) to fund other big hitters.. Also willing to keep dead positions for awhile (Balbuena, Ings (Joselu last season), in order to buy other big hitters).

Re: Let's catch up with Ville
I just can't see him removing Jimenez.
Also non-Ville but if he thinks Man City will demolish Hudd and potentially the teams following that too, then he may have swooped for a Man C mid. Or changed shape by downgrading Rich to Camarasa (or such like), upgrading Kamara to Firmino along with the Rashford move. I semi-agree with Firebug, he doesn't often change cheap dead spots. But certainly Alonso direct to Robertson as a transfer in isolation is one of the few that could pay off massively in no time.

Looks like he realised Zanka was a big mistake.
Was it a 4- or 8-point hit for him?

Re: Let's catch up with Ville
Not a lot of ways Ville can bring in a Man City attacker, would have to sell Firmino or Hazard.
I think he saves a FT and brings in Sterling and captains, as he doesn't seem to fancy Sane in his last 2 seasons.

Another 3 transfers for VR this GW...I'd say Hazard is definitely gone for Sane or Sterling then perhaps Digne and Balbuena out aswell.

Re: Let's catch up with Ville
Not convinced he'd do this but I think this would work for the money:
Firmino -> Aguero
Anderson -> Moutinho
Pogba - Son
Would leave his defence and bench weak and Pogba may start but most transferred in players are Aguero and Son and I suspect he might want to keep Hazard for Huddersfield. If I remember correctly he also likes to cap the FFS poll winner... TBH his current team is looking weak so can see why he went for the hit.

Re: Let's catch up with Ville
No I can't see that to be honest. Moutinho? Also removing Firmino and Pogba? Removing a Liverpool player would be interesting unless he's looking at FH31.
How much money did he have before, not a lot assuming posts above, 0.4? Hazard, Anderson, Balbuena to Sane, Son, Bednarek. I would also not think he'd want to remove Hazard but I think it's the most likely scenario to generate some cash.

I think if he had made 3 transfers, likely hood is that he has taken 2 players with doubles?. Other thing, I think it makes sense to sell Anderson.
Pogba also has been sold supposedly so I've been told.

Re: Let's catch up with Ville
Thing is I think he did these transfers after last nights price changes and in order to get the TV drop he will have had to transfer one (and only one) of: Doherty, AWB, Salah, Pogba or Jiminez. Out of those I think Pogba is the most likely.Sutter Kane wrote: ↑02 Feb 2019, 08:01 No I can't see that to be honest. Moutinho? Also removing Firmino and Pogba? Digne -> Danilo

Also works?

Pogba -> Sigurdsson

FH or WC for GW27? - currently has no playing keeper, 1 playing midfielder, 2 out of 3 forwards and a bit of a suspect looking defence?
