Electric Heaters
Apolgies if this is the wrong forum;
due to the alarm, with put the dog in the porch at night.
We want to put a small electric heater in there.
Been to the major stores but cant find a suitable one.
Ideally would like a wall mountable one and with a thermostat (but may sacrifice the thermostat for a timer).
Anybody have them/one?

Get onto Screwfixdirect. The DIY'ers best friend. This one looks about right, but have a look round:

Frost protection really. Got one in our outhouse. Takes the chill off and stops anything freezing.
Dog's don't mind sleeping in cold areas (all of ours slept in an outside kennel when I was a kid) and you wouldn't want to be wasting money heating a porch properly. Just need something to keep the chill off.
Of course, all our dogs were proper hard country dogs. Zimm's could be a soft city dog used to central heating

Porch is only VERY small (maybe 4x2ft).
Any idea on the cost of running the one you highlighted?
